Instructions for use of Butter Wet Wax Chemical Guys

Butter Wet Wax is applied by hand, without a machine and without waiting time. The result depends mainly on the preparation: bodywork still loaded with contaminants would trap residues under the wax layer.

Application on the bodywork

Wash the vehicle with a car shampoo, rinse, then dry completely.
Shake the bottle vigorously before each use.
Place a few drops of wax on a foam or microfiber applicator.
Spread a thin, even coat, panel by panel.
Remove residues with a clean buffing microfiber until you get a deep, glossy finish.

Application on windows

Clean the glass and make sure it is perfectly dry.
Apply a very thin coat with the applicator.
Buff with a dry, clean microfiber to leave no haze.

Good to know

Three points make the difference: a well-shaken bottle, a clean surface, and a thin coat. A thick coat does not protect more: it simply makes buffing more laborious and increases the risk of streaks. Change to a fresh side of the microfiber as soon as it becomes loaded with product, and keep a dry microfiber aside for the final touch-up.

Precautions

On dull or pitted paint, decontamination with a clay bar, together with its lubricant, before waxing noticeably improves the finish. Close the bottle after use and keep the product out of reach of children.
