Instructions for use of the carnauba wax Cherry Wet Wax Chemical Guys

Cherry Wet Wax is applied to a clean, dry, cool bodywork. Chemical Guys recommends washing and drying the vehicle before application, then shaking the bottle to homogenize the wax.

Prepare the bodywork

Wash the vehicle and rinse it thoroughly.
Dry the bodywork, for example with a drying spray and a microfiber.
If the clear coat remains rough to the touch, decontaminate it with a clay bar using a Clay Luber lubricant.
Shake the bottle before each use.

Apply by hand

Put a little wax on a soft foam applicator or on a microfiber.
Spread a thin, even coat, panel by panel.
Let the wax haze.
Buff with a clean, dry microfiber until the residues disappear completely.

Apply by machine

Put a few small dots of wax on a soft foam finishing pad.
Work at low speed with a dual action orbital polisher.
Spread the product panel by panel, without pressing on the machine.
Remove the haze with a clean microfiber.

Precautions

Work in the shade, on a cool surface, and avoid direct sunlight, which speeds up drying and makes buffing more difficult. Reserve the wax for glossy exterior surfaces: paint, glass, transparent plastics, and polished metals. Close the bottle after use and store it protected from frost, out of reach of children.
