What HydroLeather does not replace

HydroLeather is not intended for open-structure leathers, aniline or semi-aniline, which require specific products.

Instructions for use of the HydroLeather Chemical Guys ceramic leather spray

HydroLeather is applied to clean, dry leather, away from direct sunlight and on a surface that is cool to the touch. Always shake the bottle before use and test the product on an inconspicuous area before treating the entire upholstery.

First application on prepared leather

Clean the surface with a leather cleaner and a horsehair bristle brush.
Shake the 473 ml bottle vigorously.
Spray two to three pumps onto a microfiber applicator.
Work the product into the leather in small sections.
Let it sit for 30 seconds.
Buff with a clean microfiber to remove the excess.

Routine maintenance between two cleanings

Spray the product directly onto a clean microfiber.
Gently wipe the area to remove dust and fingerprints.
Buff to remove the excess and restore a protected surface.

Precautions

Always test the product on a discreet area before first use.
Do not use HydroLeather on open-structure, aniline, or semi-aniline leathers.
Work in the shade, never in direct sunlight on hot upholstery.
Set aside a clean microfiber for buffing to avoid streaks.

Close the bottle after use and store it at room temperature. Reapply as soon as water no longer beads on the leather surface or the upholstery starts retaining dirt again.
