Polishing comes down to simple details: a perfectly clean towel, a light touch, and folding that multiplies the available working sides. Here’s how to use the Happy Ending microfiber depending on the situation.
Removing a wax or a glaze
- Respect the dwell time indicated by the wax manufacturer.
- Fold the towel in four to get eight working sides.
- Wipe flat, without pressing, in straight lines rather than circles.
- Change sides as soon as the towel loads up with residue.
- Finish with a light pass using a dry side to reveal the shine.
Polishing after a quick detailer
- Spray the product on a small area, panel by panel.
- Spread with a first side of the towel.
- Wipe immediately with a dry side, before the product dries.
Towel care
- Machine wash in hot water with Chemical Guys Microfiber Wash or a mild detergent.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- Store the towel away from dust.
Precautions
- Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets: they clog the fibers and make the towel non-absorbent.
- Do not wash it with cotton, which sheds lint.
