Instructions for use of the HydroCharge Chemical Guys ceramic spray
HydroCharge is applied on a cool, clean, and dry surface, away from direct sunlight. The quality of the preparation matters as much as the application itself: the more decontaminated the paint is, the more the silica film bonds and lasts.
Prepare the vehicle
- Wash the entire vehicle with a car shampoo, for example the Hydro Suds Ceramic Chemical Guys shampoo.
- Decontaminate the paint with a clay bar using a Clay Luber lubricant.
- If necessary, correct micro-scratches with polish before application.
- Rinse, dry completely, then let the bodywork return to room temperature.
Apply the ceramic spray
- Spray HydroCharge onto an applicator or onto a microfiber, panel by panel.
- Spread the product evenly over the entire area to be treated.
- Let it act for fifteen to forty-five seconds, depending on temperature and humidity.
- Buff with a clean buffing microfiber until the hazing disappears.
- Move on to the next panel and repeat the operation over the entire car.
Good to know
Keep treated surfaces dry and protected from dirt for two to three hours after application. The hydrophobic effect continues to improve during the next twenty-four hours. Keep the bottle closed, out of reach of children, and avoid contact with eyes and skin.
