Clay bar lubricant Clay Lube FullCarX 750 ml

The FullCarX Clay Lube is a ready-to-use lubricant that accompanies the use of the clay bar on the bodywork. It makes the clay glide without snagging and limits the risk of micro-scratches during decontamination. It is packaged in a 750 ml bottle.

Clay bar lubricant Clay Lube FullCarX: decontaminate without scratching
The Clay Lube FullCarX is a ready-to-use lubricant intended for the mechanical decontamination of bodywork with a clay bar. Sprayed onto the area to be treated, it creates a slippery film on which the clay moves freely, without catching on the paint. It is aimed at both private individuals and detailers who want to remove embedded contaminants before polishing or applying a protection.
What a clay bar lubricant is used for
A clay bar used dry immediately catches on the clear coat and leaves circular marks. The lubricant sits between the clay and the paint: the clay captures embedded impurities while remaining in motion. FullCarX specifies that the role of the product is to lubricate the areas where the clay passes in order to avoid scratches.
What the Clay Lube FullCarX provides
- Continuous glide of the clay bar on horizontal as well as vertical surfaces.
- Reduced risk of micro-scratches throughout the entire decontamination phase.
- Wide compatibility: the manufacturer indicates that the product is safe for all materials.
- Ready to use: no dilution, the 750 ml bottle is used directly with a sprayer.
- Clean finish: when properly rinsed, the product leaves no marks on the paint.
When to use it in a detailing process
Clay decontamination takes place after washing and drying, once the bodywork has been cleared of loose dirt. It comes before polishing and applying a wax or a ceramic protection. A decontaminated paint surface is smooth to the touch, which improves the adhesion of protections and the consistency of the polishing work.

Instructions for use of Clay Lube FullCarX lubricant
FullCarX Clay Lube is used on a clean bodywork, in the shade and on a cool surface. Always work panel by panel, keeping the area wet from start to finish of the clay bar pass.
Decontaminate the bodywork
- Wash then rinse the vehicle, then let it dry.
- Spray 2 to 3 sprays of Clay Lube on an area of about 50 centimeters per side.
- Pass the clay bar flat, in straight lines and without pressing, until the surface becomes smooth to the touch.
- Repeat spraying as soon as the area becomes less slippery.
- Wipe off residues with a clean microfiber cloth, then move on to the next panel.
Maintain the clay bar
- Fold and knead the clay regularly to bring a clean face into contact with the paint.
- Spray a little lubricant on the clay itself when it starts to dry.
- Throw away the bar if it falls on the ground: it then traps small stones that would scratch the clear coat.
Precautions
Do not let the product dry on the paint and rinse thoroughly at the end of the treatment. The manufacturer indicates that a complete rinse prevents streaks and that a residual mark is removed with a medium-cut polish. As the product is alkaline, avoid direct sunlight and protect your eyes during spraying.
