Iron Shampoo FullCarX: wash and decontaminate in a single step
Iron Shampoo FullCarX is a concentrated pre-wash shampoo with active foam that combines the action of an iron decontaminant with that of a car shampoo. It is aimed at detailing professionals as well as demanding individuals who want to treat wheels and bodywork in a single pass, without multiplying products or rinses.
An iron decontaminant and a shampoo in a single product
Ferrous particles constantly settle on wheels and the sides of the bodywork. Once embedded, they make the paint rough to the touch and resist conventional washing. Iron Shampoo dissolves these metallic residues during washing: decontamination and cleaning are done in the same step, where you usually have to follow up with a shampoo and then a dedicated decontaminant.
A purple visual indicator
In contact with ferrous particles, the foam turns purple. This colored reaction shows precisely where the metallic deposits are concentrated and makes it possible to track the progress of decontamination before rinsing.

Iron Shampoo can be used on all types of wheels: painted, chrome, aluminum, as well as on motorcycle wheels. It also works on bodywork paint.

Instructions for use of Iron Shampoo FullCarX
Iron Shampoo is used diluted, on a previously wet surface. The product must never dry on the bodywork or on the rims: work in the shade, on a cool surface, and rinse thoroughly at the end of each step.
With a foam lance or an electric foamer
- Wet the bodywork and the rims with clean water.
- Dilute the product between 1:5 and 1:10, i.e. about 2 capfuls per liter of water in the foamer.
- Spray the foam and let it act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Spread the foam with a microfiber mitt over the entire bodywork and the rims, then let it act again, without letting it dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
With a bucket and a mitt
- Wet the surface to be treated.
- Pour 4 capfuls, i.e. 200 ml, into 3 to 5 liters of water.
- Apply the solution and let it act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Work the foam with a microfiber mitt over the entire surface, without letting it dry.
- Rinse generously with clean water.
Good to know
The foam turning purple indicates the presence of ferrous particles: the more pronounced the coloration, the more contaminated the area is. After rinsing, the surface is clean and decontaminated, therefore ready to receive a protection. For an even result, treat the vehicle panel by panel rather than all at once, in high heat.
