The FullCarX Wheel Cleaner is used neat, on a cool wheel rim and in the shade. The contact time is short and deliberately limited: it is what determines both the result and the preservation of the finish.
Routine cleaning of a set of wheels
- Rinse the wheel rim with clean water to remove most of the dust.
- Spray the product until the surface is completely covered.
- Leave to act for about 20 seconds.
- Brush the spokes and the perimeter with a wheel brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with a hose or a pressure washer.
Very dirty wheels
- Treat only one wheel rim at a time in order to keep control of the dwell time.
- Spray, leave to act for 20 seconds, then brush, including the back of the spokes, with a dedicated wheel brush.
- Rinse, then repeat the operation if a film remains, without ever exceeding one minute of contact.
Precautions
- Never exceed one minute of dwell time and do not let the product dry on the wheel rim.
- Do not apply on a hot wheel rim or in direct sunlight.
- Avoid chrome-plated, anodized, painted or delicate-finish wheels, hubcaps and motorcycle tires.
- If in doubt about the finish, first test on an inconspicuous area.
- Immediately rinse off any splashes on the bodywork.
