FullCarX Engine Cleaner engine cleaner: a thoroughly degreased engine compartment
FullCarX Engine Cleaner is a technical cleaner dedicated to the engine bay. It dissolves, degreases and quickly removes dirt, dust, grease and oil accumulated in engine areas, making it a product intended for both detailing professionals and motorists who maintain their vehicle themselves.
A degreasing action on ingrained dirt
The formula combines extra-degreasing agents that dislodge and dissolve residues that have been in place for a long time under the hood. Greasy deposits that form around hoses, engine covers and mounts are softened, then removed during rinsing, without excessive scrubbing.
A distilled water-based formula
- Formulated with distilled water, which does not conduct electricity
- Extra-degreasing agents for ingrained dirt and years of buildup
- Dissolves and dislodges all greasy residues
- Helps preserve engine parts
An easier-to-inspect compartment
A clean engine is not only about aesthetics. By removing the layer of grease and dust, Engine Cleaner renews the appearance of the compartment and makes it easier to spot an emerging problem, such as a leak or a crack, which would remain invisible under a layer of grime.
Who this cleaner is for
Engine Cleaner is suitable for preparing a vehicle before a sale or an exhibition, for treating very dirty engine bays in the workshop, and for routine maintenance under the hood. FullCarX offers it in 750 ml, as well as in 5 L and 25 L for larger work volumes.
Complete the cleaning
For exterior surfaces, FullCarX offers the Body Degreaser body degreaser. To prepare a surface before applying a protection, the IPA isopropyl alcohol degreaser takes over.
Instructions for use of the engine cleaner Engine Cleaner FullCarX
Engine Cleaner is used undiluted, by direct spraying onto the surfaces to be treated, with the engine cold. The method remains the same regardless of the degree of soiling: only the dwell time and the intensity of brushing vary. Have a soft brush, several microfiber cloths, and something to moisten the cloths before starting.
Routine cleaning of the engine bay
- Wait until the engine is completely cold.
- Spray Engine Cleaner directly onto the surface to be treated.
- Let it act briefly, without letting the product dry.
- Scrub with a brush or a soft cleaning brush.
- Remove the loosened dirt.
- Rinse thoroughly using a microfiber cloth moistened with water.
- Dry completely before using the vehicle.
Very dirty engine bay
- Work area by area to prevent the product from drying.
- Focus the brush on the thickest grease deposits.
- Reapply to areas that are still greasy rather than increasing the amount of product.
- Rinse with the damp microfiber cloth, then dry each area before moving on to the next.
Precautions
- Apply only to a cold engine.
- Use damp cloths during application.
- Avoid applying an excessive amount of product.
Good to know
FullCarX recommends cleaning the engine bay once a month to avoid excessive buildup of grease or oil. At this frequency, a simple pass is enough and brushing becomes marginal. Rinsing is done with a microfiber cloth moistened with water, not with a jet: the bay must be perfectly dry before getting back on the road.
