The FullCarX IPA degreaser is a 100% isopropyl alcohol designed to prepare the bodywork before and during polishing. It is intended for detailing professionals as well as enthusiasts who want to work on a truly clean clear coat, without silicone or residual greasy film.
What IPA removes
Commercial maintenance products often leave oils and silicones on the clear coat. These residues mask defects and prevent a protection from bonding properly.

Why degrease before polishing
A polish itself contains lubricants. As long as they remain on the panel, micro-scratches appear reduced and the result seems better than it really is. By wiping with IPA between two steps, you reveal the exact condition of the clear coat and you decide with full knowledge whether you need to go over with a compound again or move directly to the finishing polish.
Residue-free evaporation
Isopropyl alcohol evaporates on its own. No rinsing is necessary and it leaves neither film nor halo. As soon as the surface is dry, it is ready for the next step, whether it is another correction pass or the application of a protection.

The 750 ml format

Instructions for use of the isopropyl alcohol IPA FullCarX degreaser
The FullCarX IPA degreaser is used ready to use, without dilution. The principle remains the same at each step: apply the product to the surface, spread it with a microfiber, then let the alcohol evaporate.
Before polishing
- Wash and dry the vehicle completely.
- Apply the IPA directly to the panel to be treated.
- Spread the product with a clean, dry microfiber.
- Let it evaporate, then inspect the clear coat with a lamp to assess defects.
Between two polishing passes
- Remove excess polish with a microfiber.
- Apply the IPA to the worked area.
- Spread without pressing, then let dry.
- Check the real result before deciding on the next pass.
Before applying a protection
- Work panel by panel, on a cool bodywork.
- Apply the IPA and spread it evenly.
- Change microfiber as soon as it becomes loaded with residue.
- Wait for complete evaporation before applying the wax or coating.
Precautions
- Work in the shade, on a cool surface, in a ventilated area.
- Isopropyl alcohol is flammable: keep away from any source of heat or sparks.
- Test on an inconspicuous area before working on painted plastics, stickers, or rubber seals.
