All Clean by Chemical Guys is a concentrated, citrus-based all-purpose cleaner, formulated to degrease and clean the vast majority of a vehicle’s surfaces, both inside and out. It is aimed at detailers and motorists who prefer a single jug, diluted at different concentrations depending on the surface, rather than a collection of specialized cleaners.
A concentrated formula that you dilute
The product is supplied as a medium-strength concentrate. It is not intended to be used neat: Chemical Guys recommends a dilution of 10 parts water to 1 part product for exterior work, and 20 parts water to 1 part product for the interior. A 473 ml bottle therefore represents several liters of ready-to-use solution, which explains the very favorable cost-per-use ratio of this type of cleaner.

Instructions for use of the All Clean all-purpose cleaner Chemical Guys
All Clean is always used diluted, in a clean sprayer. The dilution is chosen according to the surface and the degree of soiling: the more fragile the surface is, the more diluted the solution must be.
Exterior cleaning
- Dilute 1 part product in 10 parts water in a sprayer.
- Rinse the area with plenty of water to loosen dirt and grease.
- Spray the solution on stubborn stains and let the product act for the duration of the cleaning.
- Scrub with a brush if necessary.
- Rinse thoroughly, then dry the surface.
Interior cleaning
- Dilute 1 part product in 20 parts water.
- Spray onto the carpet, the mat, or the plastic to be treated, without soaking the surface.
- Leave to act, then work the area with a brush.
- Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and let the interior dry with it open.
Good to know
Prepare the solution as you go according to your needs and note the dilution on the sprayer to avoid any confusion between the interior mixture and the exterior mixture. On a very dirty engine or underbody, a second pass at the exterior dilution gives better results than a stronger concentration applied only once.
Precautions
Always test the dilution on an inconspicuous area before treating a complete surface, especially on light-colored textiles and old plastics. Do not let the product dry on the surface and rinse carefully. The manufacturer indicates that this product is subject to the California Proposition 65 warning.
