Golden Glass FullCarX glass cleaner: clean and hydrophobic windows
Golden Glass is the window cleaner from FullCarX’s FCX Gold range. It is aimed at detailing professionals as well as demanding motorists who want perfectly clean windows and mirrors, with the added bonus of a hydrophobic and anti-fog film applied during cleaning.
Streak-free cleaning from the first pass
Its concentrated formula evaporates quickly, which limits streaks and the need for rework. A single pass is most often enough to obtain a clean surface, including on a windshield covered with a greasy film or windshield washer residue.
A hydrophobic film provided by micro-waxes
Golden Glass is enriched with micro-waxes. After wiping, they leave the surface smooth and sealed, with three concrete effects:
- Water beads on the glass and drains away faster while driving
- Dust adheres less and is removed more easily at the next cleaning
- The glass becomes more slippery to the touch, a sign of a truly decontaminated surface
An anti-fog effect for visibility
Applied to the inside of the windshield and side windows, Golden Glass limits the formation of fog. This is a useful benefit in cold or humid weather, when condensation forms as soon as the vehicle is started and delays departure.
The concentration of the FCX Gold range
FCX Gold is FullCarX’s high-end line, developed with selected raw materials and stated by the brand to be 100% active matter. The amount of product needed per window therefore remains low, and the 500 ml spray bottle covers a large number of vehicles.

Instructions for use of Golden Glass FullCarX glass cleaner
Golden Glass is used neat, directly with the sprayer, without dilution. The result depends mainly on the method: two microfibers, one to spread the product, a second perfectly dry one for finishing.
Cleaning exterior windows
- Work in the shade, on cool glass, after washing the vehicle.
- Spray Golden Glass directly onto the window.
- Spread the product over the entire surface with a clean microfiber.
- Wipe immediately with a second dry microfiber, until you obtain a perfectly transparent surface.
Cleaning the inside of the windshield
- Spray the product onto the microfiber rather than onto the glass, to avoid splashes on the dashboard.
- Work in small areas, crossing passes, horizontally then vertically.
- Finish with the dry microfiber to remove the residual haze and reveal the anti-fog effect.
Good to know
- Set aside microfibers dedicated to windows and wash them without fabric softener, which leaves a greasy film.
- Turn the microfiber to a clean side as soon as it becomes saturated: this is the leading cause of streaks.
- Do not apply the product to hot glass or in direct sunlight; evaporation that is too fast would hinder wiping.
- Close the bottle after use and store it protected from frost, out of reach of children.
