Chemical Guys blue wash bucket 19 L

Chemical Guys 19 L wash bucket in high-density plastic, tinted blue and marked with the brand logo. Its capacity allows you to work with the two-bucket method, and it accommodates the Dirt Trap grid as well as the Chemical Guys lid.

Blue Chemical Guys wash bucket: the foundation of a scratch-free wash
The blue Chemical Guys wash bucket is a 19-liter detailing bucket intended for hand car washing. It is aimed at both individuals and detailers who want to clean a bodywork without leaving micro-scratches, by separating soapy water from rinse water.
A bucket designed for detailing
Unlike a household bucket, this model is molded in thick high-density plastic, sized for intensive use in the workshop as well as outdoors. Its translucent blue tint bears the Chemical Guys logo and makes it possible to immediately identify the bucket among the other containers at the wash station.
A capacity suited to the two-bucket method
With 19 liters, the volume leaves the necessary space to dilute a shampoo and rinse a wash mitt several times. It is the reference format of the Chemical Guys bucket range, designed to work in pairs: a shampoo bucket and a rinse bucket.
Compatible with the brand's accessories
- Dirt Trap grid : it is placed at the bottom of the bucket and retains abrasive particles under the grid, out of reach of the mitt.
- Chemical Guys lid : it closes the bucket for transport and storage of products.
- Auxiliary seat : once the lid is in place, the bucket is rigid enough to serve as a seat while working on wheels and rocker panels.
These accessories are sold separately and fit on all buckets in the range.
Storage as much as a bucket
Outside washing periods, the bucket serves as a transport crate for bottles, wash mitts, and microfiber cloths. The same container thus gathers the equipment between two sessions, which avoids scattering the products in the garage. Its rigid construction supports the weight of a complete set of detailing products without deforming.
Instructions for use of the blue Chemical Guys wash bucket
The blue bucket is used with a second bucket, a diluted car shampoo, and a wash mitt. Here are the steps to follow to integrate it into a hand wash.
Prepare the two-bucket method
- Place a Dirt Trap grid at the bottom of each bucket if you have one.
- Fill the blue bucket with water and add the shampoo, following the dilution indicated by the product manufacturer.
- Fill the second bucket with clean water, without any product.
- Rinse the vehicle with a hose to remove the bulk of the dirt before any contact.
Wash the bodywork
- Load the wash mitt in the shampoo bucket.
- Wash one panel at a time, from top to bottom, in straight passes.
- Rinse the mitt in the clean water bucket by rubbing it against the grid to dislodge particles.
- Wring out the mitt, then reload it in the shampoo bucket before moving on to the next panel.
- Rinse the vehicle and dry it with a microfiber cloth.
Good to know
Empty and rinse the bucket after each wash: a layer of water loaded with sand turns into a reserve of abrasive for the next wash. Store it out of the sun: plastic does not like prolonged exposure to UV. Finally, reserve this bucket for the bodywork and use a separate container for the wheels, whose braking residues are particularly abrasive.
