Detailing bucket with FullCarX grit guard 12 L

The 12 L FullCarX detailing bucket is equipped with a grid that retains dirt and contaminants at the bottom of the water. It allows a two-bucket hand wash, which limits the risk of micro-scratches on the bodywork.

FullCarX detailing bucket with grit guard: a scratch-free hand wash
The FullCarX detailing bucket is a 12 L wash bucket supplied with its anti-scratch grit guard. It is aimed at detailing enthusiasts as well as professionals who wash the bodywork by hand and want to avoid micro-scratches caused by dirt picked up again by the mitt.
A guard that traps contaminants at the bottom
The guard is placed at the bottom of the bucket and separates clean water from the layer loaded with dust, sand and road residue. By rubbing the wash mitt against it, abrasive particles come loose and remain trapped under the guard instead of rising back to the surface. It thus limits the return of contaminants and protects the bodywork with every pass.
Designed for the traditional two-bucket wash
The two-bucket wash consists of dedicating one bucket to the wash solution and a second to rinsing the mitt. The FullCarX bucket was designed for this method: using two means you never reintroduce dirt into the shampoo, panel after panel.
Key product points
- 12 L capacity, suitable for fully washing a passenger car.
- Anti-scratch grit guard included, positioned at the bottom of the bucket.
- Weight of about 1 kg when empty, easy to move around the vehicle.
- Home or professional use, at home as well as in the workshop.
To pair with your wash routine
The bucket naturally pairs with a microfiber wash mitt and a car shampoo for a complete wash. A drying microfiber finishes the job without streaks, and a second unit of this bucket lets you move straight to the two-bucket method.
Instructions for use of the FullCarX detailing bucket with grit guard
The bucket can be handled in a few seconds, but it’s the washing method that makes the difference in the finish. Here’s how to prepare it, then use it as a duo for the two-bucket technique.
Prepare the bucket
- Place the grit guard at the bottom of the bucket.
- Fill with water, then add your car shampoo following the dilution indicated by the manufacturer.
- Rinse the bodywork with a hose before any contact in order to remove the largest dirt.
Wash with the two-bucket technique
- Prepare a first bucket with the wash solution and a second filled with clean water, each equipped with its grit guard.
- Dip the mitt into the wash solution and wash one panel, from top to bottom.
- Rinse the mitt in the clean-water bucket by rubbing it against the grit guard to dislodge particles.
- Wring out the mitt, go back to the shampoo bucket and move on to the next panel.
- Finish with a complete rinse of the vehicle, then dry with a microfiber.
Precautions and maintenance
- Empty the bucket after each wash: the residues deposited under the grit guard are abrasive.
- Remove the grit guard and rinse it separately before putting it back in place.
- Reserve one bucket for the bodywork and another for the wheels, so as not to transfer brake dust onto the paint.
- Let the bucket dry out of the sun and store it away from freezing to extend its service life.
