FullCarX Acid Shampoo is an acidic-formula wash shampoo intended for vehicles protected by a ceramic treatment or a wax. It deep-cleans the bodywork and reactivates the hydrophobic properties of the protection instead of weakening them, making it a maintenance shampoo suitable for detailers as well as demanding private individuals.
A deep clean that is less aggressive
The acidic formula acts on dirt that water alone does not remove: road films, limescale, and mineral deposits left by hard water or by poorly controlled drying. It remains less aggressive than an alkaline shampoo, which makes it possible to deep-clean the paint without attacking the protections already in place.
Revitalization of ceramic treatments and waxes
- Reactivates ceramic treatments, waxes, and hydrophobic coatings.
- Restores the hydrophobic properties of the protection and the flow of water over the bodywork.

Compatible with all vehicle surfaces
Acid Shampoo is used on all vehicle surfaces, bodywork as well as windows. It can be used with a foam lance, a foamer, or a bucket with a microfiber wash mitt, depending on the equipment you have.

This shampoo belongs to FullCarX’s FCX GOLD range, developed with high-performance components and 100% active matter. This concentration allows high dilutions, up to 1:10 with a foam lance, and therefore offers a high yield from the 1 L bottle.
When to use it rather than a neutral shampoo
Acid Shampoo has its place when water no longer beads properly on the bodywork, or after prolonged exposure to limescale water. For a routine wash with no deep-cleaning objective, a pH-neutral shampoo such as the Hydro Suds Ceramic Chemical Guys Shampoo remains more suitable.
Instructions for use of the acid shampoo Acid Shampoo FullCarX
Acid Shampoo is always used diluted and on a previously wet surface. Two application methods are possible depending on the equipment you have: active foam with a foam lance or a foamer, and traditional bucket washing.
With a foam lance or a foamer
- Wet the entire vehicle with clean water.
- Dilute the product between 1:5 and 1:10 depending on the level of soiling.
- Spray the foam over the entire surface and leave to act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Use a microfiber mitt on the bodywork and windows, without letting it dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
With a bucket and a wash mitt
- Wet the vehicle with clean water.
- Pour 2 to 4 capfuls, i.e. 100 to 200 ml, into 3 to 5 liters of water.
- Apply the solution and leave to act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Clean with a microfiber mitt, including bodywork and windows, without letting it dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
Precautions
- Never apply the product to a dry surface and do not let it dry on the paint.
- Avoid direct sunlight, which speeds up drying during the dwell time.
- Follow the indicated dilutions: the formula is ultra-concentrated, with 100 % active matter.
- Rinse thoroughly after the dwell time, then dry with a clean microfiber.
