Blue Berry Foam is the active pre-wash foam from FullCarX, a highly concentrated shampoo that is sprayed onto the bodywork to loosen dust, mud, and road film before hand washing. It is aimed both at the careful motorist and at the detailer looking to reduce mechanical friction on the clear coat.
What an active foam does
Its chemical agents and surfactants encapsulate dirt particles and carry them down the panels. The wash mitt then encounters far fewer abrasives, which limits micro-scratches and wash marks on dark paint.

Which surfaces to use it on
Blue Berry Foam is used on painted bodywork, bumpers, wheels, and windows of a car, a van, or a motorcycle. On a very dirty vehicle, it serves as a first pass before a maintenance shampoo. On a lightly soiled car, it is enough to ensure a complete bucket-and-mitt wash.
With what equipment
The density of the foam depends mainly on the equipment used. A Premium Big Mouth foam cannon, connected to a pressure washer, gives the thickest result, while a pump sprayer is suitable for small surfaces and touch-ups. For rinsing and drying, a Woolly Mammoth drying microfiber prevents water marks on the paint.
Instructions for use of the active foam Blue Berry Foam FullCarX
Blue Berry Foam is systematically diluted before use. The dosages below are those provided by FullCarX. Preferably work in the shade, on a cool bodywork, and never let the product dry.
Application with a foam cannon
- Rinse the vehicle with clean water to remove most of the dust.
- Pour 100 ml of product for 0.5 L of water into the cannon tank.
- Cover the vehicle with foam, working from bottom to top.
- Leave to act for 1 to 3 minutes depending on the level of soiling.
- Rinse thoroughly, this time from top to bottom.
Application with a bucket and a mitt
- Pour 2 to 3 capfuls into a 5 L bucket of water, one capful corresponding to 10 ml.
- Start with the wheels and the rocker panels, the dirtiest areas.
- Then wash the panels from top to bottom with a microfiber mitt.
- Rinse, then dry with microfiber or chamois leather.
Precautions
- Do not apply the product on a hot surface or in direct sunlight.
- Do not let the foam dry on the bodywork before rinsing.
- Close the bottle after use and keep it out of reach of children.
