Total Black FullCarX tire and plastic restorer: the original black restored
Total Black FullCarX is a concentrated restorer intended for tires, rubbers, and exterior plastics that have turned gray over time. It is aimed at detailing professionals as well as individuals who want to regain a deep black on tire sidewalls, trim, and bumpers, without going through a dyeing operation.
What Total Black does
The product restores the original intense black color on tires, trim, rubbers, plastics, and the vehicle’s plastic coatings. It works in a single application: the surface is nourished and its shade is revived in the same step.
Protection by hydrophobic polymers
Its high content of nanotechnological hydrophobic polymers creates a protective barrier against external agents and bad weather. It is this layer that slows the return of gray on surfaces permanently exposed to rain, splashes, and successive washes.
Lasts several weeks
FullCarX states a lasting time of several weeks, varying depending on the climatic conditions to which the vehicle is exposed. A vehicle parked outside and washed often will logically require more frequent touch-ups than a car stored under shelter.
For which uses
- Tire sidewalls, after cleaning the rims
- Trim, strips, and wheel arches in raw plastic
- Textured bumpers and rocker panels
- Exterior rubbers and seals
FullCarX indicates compatibility with interior as well as exterior plastics. The 250 ml bottle is sold alone, without an applicator sponge. The brand also offers this product in a professional 5 L format.
User manual for Total Black FullCarX
Total Black is applied to a clean, dry surface, using an applicator sponge not supplied with the bottle. The method takes just a few steps, but preparing the surface largely determines the finish and durability. A tire still loaded with brake dust or cleaner residue will absorb the product poorly and will mark unevenly.
On tires
- Wash the tire and the rim, then let dry completely.
- Apply a small amount of Total Black to the applicator sponge.
- Spread evenly on the sidewall, without going over onto the tread.
- Clean the sponge with water and soap for your next uses.
On exterior plastics and trim
- Degrease the area and dry it carefully.
- Load the applicator with a small amount of product.
- Work in sections, crossing passes to avoid overloads.
- Go over the edges and corners, where the product tends to accumulate.
Good to know
- The product is concentrated: a small amount already covers a large surface.
- Avoid the tire tread and braking components.
- Let the product soak in before driving or exposing the vehicle to rain.
- Close the bottle carefully after use and store it away from frost and direct sunlight.
- Reapply as soon as the black starts to dull, generally after several weeks of exposure.
