Chemical Guys VRP Super Shine Wipes: revived black without applicator
Chemical Guys VRP Super Shine wipes bring VRP dressing in a pre-soaked, single-use format. They are aimed at motorists who want to revive the black of plastics, rubber, and vinyl without taking out a bottle, a foam applicator, and a microfiber.
What the VRP wipe does
- Restores a glossy black finish on vinyl, rubber, and plastic
- Lays down a durable protective layer against UV rays, dust, and grime
- Leaves a dry-to-the-touch finish that does not trap dust or dirt
- Non-greasy formula, with no sticky effect on handled surfaces
- Application in a few seconds, with no prep time
Which surfaces to use it on
Chemical Guys intends these wipes for both the cabin and the exterior of the vehicle: dashboard, door panels, and center console on one side; exterior trim strips, bumpers, and mirror housings on the other. The wipe format is particularly suitable for narrow areas, air vents, and textured plastics, where a foam applicator does not work well.
Wipes or VRP bottle
The VRP Super Shine Chemical Guys plastic and rubber restorer in a 473 ml bottle remains the most rational solution for treating a complete vehicle. The wipes meet another use: quick touch-ups, the kit kept in the trunk, restoring an interior between two washes, or preparing a vehicle before presentation. Both formats share the same promise: a dry-to-the-touch finish.
Pack contents
The pack contains 50 pre-soaked wipes, packaged in a resealable pouch that preserves their moisture between uses. Each wipe is thrown away after use. On very absorbent plastics, a light buffing with the black microfiber for engine and plastics helps remove excess and even out the finish.
Instructions for use of VRP Super Shine wipes Chemical Guys
The application requires no tools: the wipe already contains the right amount of product. Chemical Guys recommends working on a clean, dust-free surface, and checking the result on a small area before treating the whole.
On interior plastics
- Pull on the seal of the pouch, then take out a wipe.
- Dust the dashboard, the center console or the door panels.
- Wipe the surface with steady, crosswise motions.
- Go over it a second time if the finish lacks uniformity.
- Remove the excess with a clean microfiber if necessary.
On exterior plastics
- Wash, then dry the moldings, the bumpers and the mirror housings.
- Apply the wipe to a cool, dry surface, out of direct sunlight.
- Focus on textured plastics, which are more absorbent than smooth surfaces.
- Buff with a microfiber to avoid any marks on the neighboring paint.
Precautions
- Test on a small, inconspicuous area before the first use.
- Reseal the pouch after each removal, otherwise the wipes dry out.
- Store the pouch in a cool place.
- Throw away the wipe after use: it is not intended to be reused.
- Do not apply to a steering wheel, pedals or a grip area, as the finish may make the surface slippery.
