Yellow Snow Foam is Shiny Garage’s yellow active pre-wash foam. Sprayed with a foam cannon before hand washing, it softens and loosens mud, salt, and road film that have built up on the bodywork. The wash mitt no longer has to drag these abrasive particles across the clear coat, which reduces the risk of micro-scratches.

A yellow foam scented with banana
The yellow tint makes the pre-wash easy to read: covered areas immediately stand out from those lacking product, which prevents forgetting a rocker panel or a pillar. The banana scent replaces the usual chemical smell of pre-wash products.
A thick foam that works on its own
Yellow Snow Foam belongs to Shiny Garage’s range of colored active foams, alongside the blue and pink versions. The foam stays clinging to vertical surfaces for several minutes, long enough to soften dirt, then rinses off completely with a pressure washer.

Yellow Snow Foam is intended for the motorist equipped with a pressure washer and a foam cannon, who wants a first touchless washing step. It is suitable for regular maintenance washing as well as cleaning a very dirty vehicle after a winter trip.
Yellow Snow Foam: compatible equipment and surfaces
An active foam only delivers its full potential with the right equipment. The dosage and foam thickness depend on the spraying device used.
With a high-pressure foam cannon
This is the main use. Connected to a pressure washer, the foam cannon produces a thick layer that stays on the bodywork for several minutes. Shiny Garage indicates, for its colored active foams, a dilution of 100 ml of product in 1 L of warm water in the cannon’s tank.
With a manual foam sprayer
The manual sprayer is suitable for small surfaces and for vehicles washed without a pressure washer. The dilution then drops to 20 to 40 ml of product for 1 L of warm water.
Surfaces concerned
Yellow Snow Foam is applied to the entire bodywork, the rims, the rocker panels and the wheel arches. It is used before the wash mitt, and not in its place: the prewash removes the superficial layer, the manual wash finishes the job.
What the prewash does not replace
An active prewash foam does not decontaminate the paint. Tar, ferrous residues and industrial fallout require dedicated products, applied after washing and before applying a protection.
Instructions for use of the Yellow Snow Foam active foam
Pre-washing is always done on a cool bodywork and in the shade. A hot surface or one exposed to the sun dries the foam before rinsing and leaves marks.
Pre-wash with a foam cannon
- Check that the bodywork is cool and place the vehicle in the shade.
- Dilute 100 ml of Yellow Snow Foam in 1 L of lukewarm water, in the foam cannon tank.
- Rinse the vehicle with clean water to remove the bulk of the dust.
- Apply the foam from bottom to top over the entire bodywork.
- Leave to act for 4 to 6 minutes, without letting it dry.
- Rinse with a pressure washer, from top to bottom.
Pre-wash with a manual sprayer
- Dilute 20 to 40 ml of product in 1 L of lukewarm water.
- Spray area by area, starting with the lower parts.
- Leave to act for 4 to 6 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Precautions
- Never let the foam dry on the paint.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight or on a hot surface.
- Avoid contact with eyes and rinse immediately with water in case of splashes.
- Keep the bottle out of reach of children.
