It lifts dust, road residue, and rain marks without stripping the wax, sealant, or ceramic coating applied to the bodywork. It’s the shampoo to choose when the vehicle is already protected and you simply want to clean it without calling that protection into question.
A wash designed to limit scratches
The formula combines polymers and surfactants that reduce friction between the wash mitt and the paint. The abundant foam encapsulates dirt and makes it glide instead of rolling it over the clear coat, which limits the risk of micro-scratches and swirl marks, particularly visible on dark shades.

Instructions for use of Mr Pink Chemical Guys shampoo
Chemical Guys gives a deliberately wide dosage range for Mr Pink: from 1 to 3 oz per 5-gallon bucket, i.e. about 30 to 90 ml for 19 liters of water. Adjust the dose according to the vehicle’s level of soiling and the hardness of your water.
Bucket wash
- Rinse the vehicle with clean water to remove dust and small stones.
- Shake the bottle well before each use.
- Pour 30 to 90 ml of Mr Pink into a 19-liter bucket, then fill with a hose to build up the foam.
- Wash panel by panel with a wash mitt, from top to bottom.
- Rinse with clean water for a streak-free finish.
- Dry with a quality microfiber towel.
Two-bucket method
- Prepare one bucket of wash solution and a second bucket of clean water reserved for rinsing the mitt.
- Rinse the mitt in the clean water after each panel, before reloading it with shampoo.
- Leave the dirtiest areas for last: rocker panels and the lower parts of the doors.
Precautions
- Work in the shade, on a cool bodywork, to avoid any premature drying.
- Never let the solution dry on the paint or on the glass.
- Keep the bottle closed, protected from freezing, and out of reach of children.
