The application is always done on clean, dry leather, away from direct sunlight and on a surface that is not hot. The principle comes down to one rule: a small amount of product, applied gradually, to give the material time to absorb it.
Treat a complete upholstery
- Clean the leather beforehand with a dedicated cleaner, then let it dry.
- Spray a small amount of product onto a clean microfiber, never directly onto the seat.
- Spread over the upholstery with gentle circular motions, without pressing.
- Continue until the product is fully absorbed by the leather.
- Wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth to remove the excess.
- Move on to the next area and proceed panel by panel.
Maintain new leather
- Dust the upholstery and remove light dirt.
- Apply a thin layer of product onto an interior microfiber, then work the contact areas: seat, side bolster, armrest.
- Buff dry to even out the finish.
Precautions
The Leather Conditioner is reserved for 100% natural leather. On faux leather or an imitation, it does not penetrate the material and can form a white powdery deposit on the surface. Never apply a large amount all at once: the product is measured out in small successive applications in order to penetrate properly. Repeat the treatment with each complete interior cleaning.
