Golden Trim and Plastic is the exterior plastics conditioner from the professional FCX Gold range by FullCarX. It is aimed at motorists and detailers who want to restore an even shade to faded bumpers, strips, and moldings, without getting a greasy or oily finish.
An intense and long-lasting satin black
The formula is enriched with silicon-based synthetic polymers. They revive the color of plastics and moldings and leave a deep satin black that lasts over time, where a simple wash only removes surface dirt.
Protection against UV
Beyond appearance, the product nourishes the treated surfaces and protects them from UV rays, which are responsible for the premature degradation of plastics exposed outdoors. The treatment therefore fits into routine vehicle maintenance, in the same way as washing or paint protection.
A clean, non-greasy finish
Unlike very oily dressings, Golden Trim and Plastic leaves a clean finish that does not stick and does not retain dust. Application is done with an applicator or microfiber, with wiping off the excess, which makes it possible to adjust the desired level of gloss.

It is formulated for exterior plastics and trim: bumpers, side strips, moldings, and unpainted plastic elements. FullCarX indicates that it can also be used on tires, even if the brand reserves this use for its dedicated product Golden Tire.
Instructions for use of Golden Trim and Plastic FullCarX
Golden Trim and Plastic is applied to clean plastics that are perfectly dry. A surface that is still damp or loaded with dirt prevents the silicone polymers from adhering properly and gives an uneven result. A few minutes of preparation are enough to obtain an even shade over all trim.
Prepare the surfaces
- Wash the vehicle and rinse the exterior plastics thoroughly.
- Degrease areas that are very dulled or marked by old products, then rinse.
- Dry the surfaces completely before application.
On exterior plastics and moldings
- Apply a small amount of product to an applicator sponge or a microfiber.
- Spread evenly over bumpers, strips, and moldings.
- Let the product soak in for a few moments.
- Wipe off the excess with a clean, dry microfiber to obtain a neat finish.
On tires
- Clean and dry the tire sidewall before any application.
- Apply the product using an applicator sponge, without going over onto the tread.
- Wipe off the excess to avoid splatter on the first drive.
Good to know
Work in small areas and do not insist on a surface that is already saturated: it is wiping off the excess that determines the evenness of the finish and the absence of a greasy effect. If in doubt about a particular trim piece, test first on a less visible area. Protect windows and paint from splashes, and close the bottle after use, away from frost and heat sources.
