The P27W (US reference 3156) is a single-filament bulb with a T25 W2.5x16d base, used for reverse lights, daytime running lights or turn signals, depending on the vehicle. It is found mainly on American and Asian models. At AGM Vision, the VENTIRAD XS White is our most popular model in this format.

The 3156 (P27W) has a single filament, while the 3157 (P27/7W) has two (day/night function or brake/parking light). The 3156 is used for a single function (reverse, turn signal or DRL), the 3157 for a dual function. The bases are similar, but the indexing tabs differ to prevent mix-ups.

Check your vehicle’s maintenance booklet or the reference written on the original bulb (P27W, 3156 or W2.5x16d). This format is common on American vehicles (Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge) and Asian vehicles (Toyota, Honda). If in doubt, remove the bulb and compare the base with the references in our T25 P27W range.
