The LW5B bulb is a specific base format, used mainly for the reverse lights of certain BMW vehicles. This is a proprietary base, less common than standard formats (W16W, P21W), which makes finding a compatible LED more complex. At AGM Vision, we offer two LW5B LED models suited to this base.

We offer two models depending on your needs. The LED LW5B Origine 5 W provides a white light equivalent to the original bulb, ideal for a discreet replacement. For more powerful lighting, the ventilated LED LW5B Ultra 23 W offers significantly higher brightness, for better visibility during maneuvers.

Yes, the replacement is direct and without any modification to the vehicle. Our LW5B LED bulbs install Plug & Play in the original holder. Simply remove the halogen bulb and insert the LED to enjoy modern white lighting.

The LW5B Origine 5 W uses a COB LED chip for stable and uniform lighting, faithful to the original intensity. The LW5B Ultra 23 W is about 4 times more powerful thanks to its ventilated system, which dissipates heat, offering significantly more efficient reverse lighting for night maneuvers.

The LW5B base is a specific format used on certain BMW models, notably the 3 Series, 5 Series and X3, for reverse lights. It is an uncommon proprietary base, which explains why it is difficult to find at traditional retailers. Check the reference written on your original bulb to confirm this format.

Our LW5B LED bulbs are designed to be compatible with BMW onboard electronics. The 5 W Original version best simulates the consumption of the original halogen. In rare cases, an ODB message may appear; adding an external resistor then solves the problem.
