The PH16W is a specific bulb, mainly used for reverse lights on certain Audi, Volkswagen and BMW vehicles. It stands out for its dedicated connector base, which prevents any confusion with other formats. In LED, our ULTRA SPEC-1 offers an intense white light for optimal visibility when reversing.

PH16W bulbs mainly equip the reverse lights of certain Audi A4, A6, Q5, VW Golf, Passat and BMW 3 Series. Check the service booklet or the reference written on the original bulb. The specific PH16W connector is recognizable and cannot be confused with other formats.

Installation is plug-and-play: remove the original PH16W halogen bulb and insert the LED into the connector. Some of our models include an adapter bracket for a perfect fit. The ULTRA + Bracket comes with its integrated adapter.

The PH16W uses a specific proprietary connector, while the W16W (T15) has a standard wedge base. Both are used for reverse lights, but are not interchangeable. Always check the format of your original bulb before ordering.

Yes, our PH16W LED bulbs include CANbus management to prevent dashboard errors, which is particularly important on German vehicles, which are very sensitive to this. The ULTRA SPEC-1 works without error on the majority of Audi and Volkswagen.
