The P27/7W bulb (American reference 3157) is a dual-filament bulb, with a T25 W2.5x16q base, used for brake/parking lights, daytime running lights or turn signals on many American and Asian vehicles. Switching to LED provides brighter lighting and an instant response time, as with our Vortek White/Orange, our most popular model.

The 3157 (P27/7W) is a dual-filament bulb (brake + parking light), while the 3156 (P27W) is single-filament. They share the same T25 format, but the 3157 base has an additional key. Check your original bulb before ordering. AGM Vision offers both formats in its T25 range.

The choice depends on the function. White is ideal for daytime running lights (DRL) and parking lights, red for brake lights and orange for turn signals. Our Vortek White and the Vortek Red are our best-sellers in this format.

Yes, our P27/7W LED bulbs include a CANbus resistor in order to avoid dashboard errors and rapid flashing (hyper-flash). The Vortek range is designed to work without error on the majority of vehicles.

Installation is plug-and-play: remove the original halogen bulb with a quarter turn and insert the P27/7W LED in its place. The T25 wedge base ensures a perfect fit, without an adapter. Be sure to observe polarity; if the bulb does not light up, simply turn it 180°.

Yes, this is one of its main uses. The P27/7W LED reproduces the dual-intensity function (low tail light + strong brake light) of the original halogen. The Vortek Red offers a deep red, immediately visible, with an almost instantaneous lighting time, which improves safety.
