XXL Drying Towel FullCarX 80 x 180 cm

This FullCarX drying towel is a 100% polyamide microfiber of 560 g/m², designed to absorb the water remaining on the bodywork after rinsing. Its XXL size of 80 x 180 cm makes it possible to dry an entire vehicle without damaging the clear coat.

XXL FullCarX drying towel: dry your car without streaks
The FullCarX XXL drying towel is a large-format microfiber designed to wipe down the bodywork right after rinsing. With its 80 x 180 cm size and 560 g/m² weight, it is aimed at motorists who want to dry an entire vehicle without multiplying passes or cloths.
A 100% polyamide microfiber
FullCarX has chosen a 100% polyamide construction, a fiber that is soft to the touch and retains water in its loops instead of repelling it. This composition is presented as safe on clear-coated surfaces: the towel glides over the paint rather than catching on it, which limits the risk of marks during wiping.
The XXL format in practice
- 80 x 180 cm: enough to cover a hood, a roof, or an entire side in a single placement.
- 560 g/m²: a density that allows it to absorb the film of water instead of moving it from one panel to another.
- A single towel is generally enough for a sedan, without having to go back over it with a second microfiber.
Why wipe rather than let it dry
Water left on the bodywork evaporates and leaves behind the minerals it contained: these are the whitish water spots, so visible on dark shades. Wiping immediately after rinsing prevents these deposits and prepares a clean surface for the rest of the process: wax, sealant, or finishing spray.
Who this towel is for
It is suitable for weekly washing as well as more advanced detailing. SUV and station wagon owners take full advantage of the available surface area; on dark cars, where the slightest trace is noticeable, the large format reduces the number of passes and therefore the stress on the paint. It naturally complements a car shampoo and a wash mitt in a classic washing routine.
User manual for the XXL FullCarX drying towel
Drying is decided in the minutes that follow rinsing. Here’s how to make the most of the XXL format of the FullCarX towel depending on the situation.
Classic drying after washing
- Rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove any shampoo residue.
- Unfold the towel and lay it flat on the roof or the hood.
- Pull it gently toward you, letting it absorb, without pressing or rubbing.
- Fold it over to a dry side and continue panel by panel, from top to bottom.
- Finish with the rocker panels and door sills, the most heavily soiled areas.
Drying assisted by a lubricant
- Spray a drying spray onto the still-wet panel.
- Run the towel over it right away to absorb the water and the product together.
- Check the result in raking light and go over the area again if needed.
Good to know
- Never use it on bodywork that is still dirty: the microfiber would trap the particles and drag them across the clear coat.
- Wash it separately from cotton textiles and without fabric softener, as the latter clogs the fibers and reduces absorption.
- Reserve it for bodywork and windows, and keep other microfibers for wheels and wheel wells.
