The HB4 (9006) LED 24V bulb is an American single-filament bulb designed for 24-volt vehicles (heavy goods vehicles, trucks, buses). It replaces the original halogen in the low beam or fog lights. The HB4 (9006) P22d base is the complement to the HB3 in separate-optic systems, common on American heavy goods vehicles and certain European models. The LED version delivers between 4,000 and 6,000 lumens, i.e. up to 3 times more than halogen, with reduced consumption of 70 to 80%. Pure white (6 000 K) is the most popular: it offers excellent contrast and improves distance perception at night. Warm white (4 300 K) is closer to halogen and penetrates fog and rain better.
