Multifunction control panels – LED lighting & accessories

A multifunction control panel is a box that centralizes the control of several LED lighting circuits from a single point. It integrates individual switches (4 or 6 buttons) as well as protective fuses to secure each circuit. This device considerably simplifies electrical wiring by avoiding multiplying isolated switches in the cabin. Operating in 12V, it is installed on the dashboard or in an accessible location. The wired panel mounts directly on the dashboard and connects by cable to the vehicle’s electrical circuit. It offers total reliability, with no risk of signal loss or a battery to recharge. The wireless remote control communicates by radio frequency and allows you to control the lights remotely, which is particularly convenient for 4x4s and motorhomes, where access to the dashboard may be limited. Both versions include individual fuses and operate on 12V, with the same switching capabilities.

Control panels are available in two main configurations: 4 buttons to control up to 4 independent circuits and 6 buttons to manage up to 6 separate circuits. Each button controls a dedicated circuit with its own protective fuse, allowing you to turn each LED light bar or auxiliary headlight on or off individually. The 4-button model is suitable for standard installations, while the 6-button model is recommended for advanced configurations combining several types of lighting. AGM Vision offers both formats in wired and wireless versions.

The installation of a control panel requires connecting it to the vehicle’s 12V battery via a main power cable, generally protected by a main fuse. Each output of the panel is then connected to a LED light (bar, headlight, work light). Wired models are mounted on the dashboard with the screws or adhesives provided. Wireless remote controls only require mounting the receiver near the equipment. A wiring diagram is included with each AGM Vision panel to facilitate step-by-step connection.

The control panels offered by AGM Vision operate on 12V DC, which makes them compatible with the majority of cars, 4x4s, vans, motorhomes and boats. They can control any 12-volt electrical equipment: LED bars, auxiliary headlights, work lights, light bars and other accessories. The switching capacity per channel varies depending on the model (generally 15 to 20 amps per circuit). For 24V vehicles (trucks, heavy goods vehicles), check compatibility on the product’s technical data sheet before purchase.

The built-in fuses protect each circuit against overcurrents and short circuits, thus preventing damage to your LED lighting or the vehicle’s electrical circuit. In the event of an overload, the fuse melts and automatically cuts off the power supply to the circuit concerned, without affecting the others. This individual channel protection is essential for a reliable and safe installation, especially when combining several high-power LED light bars and additional headlights.
