AGM Vision Competition: LED H7 Thallium
The H7 Thallium LED could be summed up in one word : EXTREME. Its name is related to a highly toxic poison, you will understand why later. The specifications for the H7 Thallium LED bulb had no restrictions regarding the deployment of light power. With such instructions, the use of this kind of LED is not for everyone. The brightness is such that precision is obviously more difficult to control, which is purely logical. We recommend this LED mainly for low beams, but only if the headlight optics are projector-type. It should not be used on reflector headlights because its power is too high. However, it is ideal for high beams, where it can express its full potential, whether with reflector or projector headlights. The H7 Thallium LED bulb is the most powerful in our range with 85 watts and 16 000 raw lumens per bulb that is 170 watts and 32 000 raw lumens for 2 bulbs. It stands far ahead at the top of the most powerful LEDs without the need to change the section of the electric supply wires. Intended for lovers of extreme light for competition, rallying not to mention Off Road.
Comparison LED H7 Approved vs LED H7 Thallium
As you can see in the attached photo, the difference between a certified LED and a competition LED is more than obvious. We decided to carry out this test to show you just how important the contrast is between these two worlds. This is not to say that a certified H7 LED bulb does not light well, but only to allow you to visually appreciate the power and impressive breadth of the light spectrum of the H7 Thallium LED bulb compared to a certified H7 LED bulb. Conversely, the latter perfectly respects the shape and size of the original spectrum; only its light intensity is stronger than an original halogen bulb as well as its color, which is whiter.
Result of the test carried out at 4 meters distance with a Peugeot 206 headlight optic:
High beam: 5300 LUX peak for the H7 Thallium LED
Low beam: 3200 LUX peak for the certified H7 LED
H7 LED Thallium: incredible vision! Like in broad daylight
The Thallium H7 LED bulb features a 6500K white light, ultra powerful and unmatched. Compared to a standard LED, such a luminous output was not even imaginable before without resorting to the use of additional LED lighting, such as a ramp or LED bar. This Thallium H7 LED bulb is a real treat in the countryside or for those who live in mountainous regions.
The advantage of the Thallium H7 LED bulb lies mainly in its 85 watts power and the choice of LED chip (wide hybrid spectrum exploited to its maximum). The combination of both allows for lighting without shadow zones: every millimeter of asphalt will be filled with light. With such luminous intensity, your field of vision will be extra wide, but also very far-reaching. Usually, with a classic LED, a trade-off is always noticed: the light cannot be distributed everywhere, either far or wide, but rarely at a very good level in every task. The H7 Thallium LED also proves to be a very good ally for correcting existing lighting defects.
H7 LED Thallium: Arsenal of the Best Technologies
The H7 LED Thallium bulb is truly designed like a race car. Of course, it innovates with the best current technologies as well as the most high-end materials, essential for such a level of performance and flawless reliability.
We obviously find the Multi Tube Copper with Liquid Sodium system already known from the Millenium 2, as well as the addition of a high-capacity aluminum radiator, here specifically implemented on this LED to boost heat extraction, not to mention the use of rare and precious minerals such as graphene allowing, for its part, to improve all of the thermoelectric conductivity in an exceptional way.
Despite what one might think, the H7 Thallium LED hardly heats up at all compared to a standard halogen bulb. Thus, there is no risk for your connectors nor for your electrical harness: we are still below manufacturer safety margins.
H7 LED Thallium: New High-Performance Can-Bus
The main advantage of the H7 Thallium LED bulb is its very high power. Usually, an LED is considered low consumption, but as far as the H7 Thallium LED is concerned, that is not really the case; in fact, it is quite the opposite, as the consumption is greater than the original. But this parameter gives it a great anti-error capability. Thanks to this, error problems related to low electrical consumption are most often inhibited. After several tests on vehicles with complex electronics, the H7 Thallium LED proves to be one of the LEDs best suited to solve error problems such as "burnt out bulbs," notably on Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda.
LED H7 Thallium: AGM Vision test bench
After several months of testing and numerous updates before its release, the H7 Thallium LED bulb has continually increased its luminous performance to now reach its culminating point around 16 000 raw Lumens per bulb (theoretical Lumens without energy loss). To confirm the obtained performance, we carried out a validation test under real conditions in our internal laboratory using our calibrated IES radiospectrometer sphere. This test makes it possible to measure the real Lumens with all constraints, that is to say: thermal, electrical, and mechanical. Nothing to do with raw Lumens, which are theoretical calculated Lumens.
- 1st H7 Thallium LED: 6790.30 real Lumens measured by AGM Vision
- 2nd H7 Millenium 2 LED: 5765.70 real Lumens measured by AGM Vision
- 3rd H7 Titanium XS LED: 3900.70 real Lumens measured by AGM Vision
- Philips approved H7 LED: 1332.30 real Lumens measured by AGM Vision
