AGM Vision Competition: LED HIR2 9012 Thallium
The LED HIR2 Thallium could be summed up in a single word : EXTREME. Its name is related to a highly toxic poison, you will understand why later. The specifications for the LED HIR2 Thallium bulb had no restrictions regarding the deployment of luminous power. With such instructions, the use of this type of LED is not for everyone. The brightness is such that precision is obviously more difficult to master, which is purely logical. We recommend this LED mainly for low beams, but only if the headlight optics are lens-type. It should not be used on reflector headlights because its power is too high. However, it is ideal for high beams, where it can express its full potential, whether with reflector or lens headlights. The LED HIR2 Thallium bulb is the most powerful in our entire range with 85 watts and 16 000 raw lumens per bulb that is 170 watts and 32 000 raw lumens for 2 bulbs. It stands far ahead on the podium of the most powerful LEDs without the need to change the section of the power supply wires. Intended for fans of extreme light for competition, rally not forgetting Off Road.
HIR2 9012 Approved LED Comparison vs HIR2 9012 Thallium LED
As you can see in the attached photo, the difference between a certified LED and a competition LED is more than obvious. We decided to carry out this test to show you how important the contrast is between these two worlds. This is not to say that a HIR2 9012 certified LED bulb does not illuminate well, but simply so that you can visually realize the power and impressive size of the light spectrum of the HB3 Thallium LED bulb compared to a HIR2 9012 certified LED bulb. Conversely, this one perfectly respects the shape and size of the original spectrum; only its light intensity is higher than an original halogen bulb, as well as its color, which is whiter.
Result of the test carried out at a distance of 4 meters with a Peugeot 206 headlight:
High beam : 5300 LUX peak for the H7 Thallium LED
Low beam : 3200 LUX peak for the certified H7 LED
HIR2 9012 LED Thallium: incredible vision! Like in broad daylight
The HIR2 9012 Thallium LED bulb provides a 6000K white light, unmatched ultra-powerful illumination. Compared to a standard LED, such luminous output was previously unimaginable without resorting to the use of additional LED lighting, like a light bar or LED strip. This HIR2 Thallium LED bulb is truly a delight in the countryside or for those living in mountainous regions. The advantage of the HIR2 9012 Thallium LED bulb lies mainly in its 85 watt power and in the choice of the LED chip (broad hybrid spectrum used at its maximum). The combination of both enables lighting without shadow zones: every millimeter of asphalt will be filled with light. With such luminous intensity, your field of vision will be extra wide and also very distant. Usually, with a classic LED, a compromise is always observed: the light cannot be distributed everywhere, either far or wide, but rarely at a very good level for each task. The HIR2 9012 LED Thallium is also a very good ally for eliminating existing lighting defects.
HIR2 9012 LED Thallium: Arsenal of the Best Technologies
The HIR2 9012 LED Thallium bulb is truly designed like a race car. Of course, this one innovates with the best current technologies as well as with the most high-end materials, essential for such a level of performance and flawless reliability.
We naturally find the Multi Tube Copper with Liquid Sodium system already known from the Millenium 2, to which is added the addition of a High Capacity Aluminum Radiator, here specially implemented on this LED to multiply heat extraction, not to mention the use of rare and precious minerals such as Graphene, which itself allows the overall thermoelectric conductivity to be improved in an exceptional way.
Despite what one might think, the HIR2 Thallium LED hardly heats up at all compared to a standard halogen bulb. Thus, there is no risk for your connectors, nor for your wiring harness: we are still below manufacturer safety margins.
HIR2 9012 LED Thallium: New High-Performance CAN-Bus
The main advantage of the HIR2 Thallium LED bulb is its very high power. Usually, an LED is known for low consumption, but when it comes to the HIR2 9012 Thallium LED, this is not really the case, it's actually quite the opposite, because the consumption is higher than the original bulb. However, this parameter gives it great anti-error capability. Thanks to this, error problems linked to low electrical consumption are most of the time inhibited. After several tests on vehicles with complex electronics, the HIR2 Thallium LED proved to be one of the LEDs best suited to solve error problems "burnt-out bulbs", especially on Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda.
LED HIR2 9012 Thallium: AGM Vision Bench Test
After several months of testing and numerous updates before its release, the HIR2 9012 Thallium LED bulb has continuously increased its luminous performance, to reach today its culminating point around 16 000 raw Lumens per bulb (theoretical Lumens without energy loss). To confirm the performance achieved, we carried out a validation test under real conditions in our internal laboratory using our calibrated IES radiospectrometer sphere. This test allows us to measure the actual Lumens with all constraints, that is to say: thermal, electrical and mechanical. Nothing to do with raw Lumens which are calculated theoretical Lumens.
- 1st HIR2 Thallium LED: 6 790.30 actual Lumens measured AGM Vision
- 2nd HIR2 Millenium 2 LED: 5 765.70 actual Lumens measured AGM Vision
- 3rd HIR2 Titanium XS LED: 3 900.70 actual Lumens measured AGM Vision
- Philips Approved H7 LED: 1 332.30 actual Lumens measured AGM Vision
