AGM Vision Competition: LED H9 THALLIUM
The LED H9 Thallium could be summed up in one word : EXTREME. Its name is related to a highly toxic poison, you will understand why later. The specifications for the LED H9 Thallium bulb had no restrictions regarding the deployment of light power. With such instructions, the use of this type of LED is not for everyone. The brightness is such that precision is obviously harder to master, which makes perfect sense. We recommend this LED mainly for low beam headlights, but only if the headlight optics are projector-type. It should not be used on reflector headlights because its power is too high. However, it is ideal for high beam headlights where it can express its full potential, whether with reflector or projector headlights. The LED H9 Thallium bulb is the most powerful in our range with 85 watts and 16 000 raw Lumens per bulb that is 170 Watts and 32 000 raw Lumens for 2 bulbs. It stands far ahead on the podium of the most powerful LEDs without the obligation to change the section of the power supply wires. Comparison LED H9 Approved vs LED H9 Thallium
As you can see in the attached photo, the difference between a Homologated LED and a competition LED is more than obvious. We decided to carry out this test to show you how important the contrast is between these two worlds. This is not to say that a Homologated H9 LED bulb does not provide good lighting, but only to allow you to visually realize the power and impressive size of the light spectrum of the H9 Thallium LED bulb compared to a homologated H9 LED bulb. Conversely, the latter perfectly respects the shape and size of the original spectrum; only its light intensity is stronger than an original halogen bulb as well as its color, which is whiter.

The advantage of the H9 Thallium LED bulb lies mainly in its 85-watt power and the choice of LED chip (wide hybrid spectrum used at its maximum). The combination of both allows lighting without shadow zones: every millimeter of asphalt will be filled with light. With such luminous intensity, your field of vision will be extra wide but also very far-reaching. Usually, with a classic LED, a compromise is always observed: the light cannot be distributed everywhere, either far or wide, but not at a very good level in every area. The H9 Thallium LED also proves to be a very good ally for correcting existing lighting faults.
H9 LED Thallium: Arsenal of the Best Technologies
The H9 Thallium LED bulb is truly designed like a race car. Of course, it innovates with the best current technologies as well as the most high-end materials, essential for such a level of performance as well as flawless reliability.
We naturally find the Liquid Sodium Copper Multi Tube system already known from the Millenium 2, as well as the addition of a high-capacity aluminum radiator, here specially implemented on this LED to multiply heat extraction, not to mention the use of rare and precious minerals such as graphene which in turn improves overall thermoelectric conductivity in an exceptional way.
Despite what one might think, the H9 Thallium LED hardly heats up at all compared to a standard halogen bulb. Also, there is no risk for your connectors or your wiring harness: we are still well below manufacturer safety margins.
H9 LED Thallium: New high-performance Can-Bus
The major advantage of the H9 Thallium LED bulb is its very high power. Usually, an LED is considered low consumption, but as for the H9 Thallium LED, this is not really the case. It’s actually quite the opposite, as its consumption is higher than the original bulb. However, this feature gives it great anti-error capability. Thanks to this, error problems related to low electrical consumption are mostly inhibited. After several tests on vehicles with complex electronics, the H9 Thallium LED turns out to be one of the LEDs most suitable for solving error problems "burnt out bulbs", especially on Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda.
LED H9 Thallium: AGM Vision Test Bench
After several months of testing and numerous updates before its release, the H9 Thallium LED bulb has continuously increased its light performance, reaching today its peak at around 16 000 raw lumens per bulb (theoretical lumens without energy loss). To confirm the achieved performance, we conducted a validation test in real conditions in our internal laboratory using our calibrated IES radiospectrometer sphere. This test allows us to measure the actual lumens with all constraints, that is: heat, electric and mechanical. Nothing to do with raw lumens which are theoretical calculated lumens.
