Today, AGM Vision presents the all-new H9 Truck GT LED specially designed for Heavy Vehicles, reinforced to withstand several hours of travel and to absorb voltage spikes beyond 24 Volts up to more than 50 Volts.
The H9 Truck GT bulb is our 1st LED specifically for Heavy Duty Trucks, equipped with cutting-edge technology allowing it to break all current reliability records. Notably with the introduction of a heat sink radiator (high conductivity), for an exceptional lifespan.
As for performance, the brightness gain is colossal compared to your original bulbs, especially thanks to the use of a latest-generation LED chip (wide spectrum) allowing you to broaden your field of vision, without dark spots compared to a standard LED chip. When truck drivers are asked, their answers are unanimous: the most important thing is wide but above all as homogeneous lighting as possible. Once again, the LED H9 24 Volts Truck GT stands out by far in this exercise. It allows you to multiply the existing lighting by 4 and above all to increase the width of your field of vision. Compared to most LEDs on the market, this one has less focused lighting: the light is better distributed across the entire spectrum, which causes less visual fatigue for the driver.
The H9 LED Truck GT bulb is also highly recommended for lenticular-type headlights because these require a stronger light intensity than a standard headlight to benefit from optimal lighting coverage. H9 Truck GT: a unique and futuristic white
Our two CSP LED chips make it possible to achieve a lighting color of a white still unknown to this day, beyond 6500 Kelvins ! The LED H9 Truck GT thus features a unique white, recognizable among all. Even our customers who are used to using LED lighting have been amazed by this icy white ! That's not surprising, because the lighting temperature of LEDs usually found on the market is generally around 6000K, far from the 6500K of the LED H9 Truck GT.
The color is so white that it reveals subtle shades of blue with a hint of violet. At night, you will feel like you are driving in a Nordic country or on the Rally Sweden.
Note: unlike an 8000K xenon bulb which has a very blue color, the lighting color of the LED H9 Truck GT remains very white.
H9 TRUCK GT: Technical Revolution
Big words call for big measures. To design the H9 Truck GT LED bulb, we increased its electrical power by 10 watts compared to the H9 Millenium 2 LED, going from 65 to 75 watts. This primarily allows for a better anti-error level, especially to better suit 24-volt truck fleets. Don't worry about your truck's sockets and wiring harnesses, there is no risk, we are still well below the manufacturer's safety margins.
As you may notice, the chips used for this H9 LED TRUCK GT are much wider compared to those used on the H9 Millenium 2 LED bulb, they allow for a much wider light spectrum than the Millenium 2 LED but on the other hand, the light range is a few meters shorter. It's all in the details for the experts. The H9 Truck GT LED bulb reaches 11 500 raw lumens per bulb. Please note, as a reminder: raw lumen is the maximum value that the LED can theoretically reach without energy losses. Do not confuse with actual lumens that we measure in our facilities using a calibrated IES radiospectrometer sphere.
During our test in our laboratory, the H9 Truck GT LED developed 5 393 actual lumens, almost on par with the Millenium 2 LED.
As they say, power is nothing without control.
To maintain an extreme level of performance combined with unfailing reliability, during our isolated chamber test, the LED Truck GT proved capable of operating 24/7 for more than 5000 hours without any sign of weakness. The key to success lies in the cooling of this monster: we have used several combined and exclusive technologies: the Cooling Tub : a state-of-the-art cooling system consisting of a pure copper tube that contains a superconducting liquid coupled with a very high-quality copper heat sink (radiator) acting as a sponge to store the heat in order to redistribute it to the fan just below. This one has also been slightly optimized at the blade level with an increase in diameter of 2 mm and a speed boost from 10,000 rpm to 12,000 rpm ! Nothing has been neglected to improve and optimize the heat extraction speed.
Result: a regulation temperature of only 50°C at the fan level compared to 85°C with a standard LED bulb. Be aware that a classic halogen bulb operates around 100 to 120°C at the base.
Errors reduced to 98%.
4th generation anti-error module. This 24-volt Can-Bus module is the most advanced currently available for heavy vehicles. It allows you to eliminate and overcome 98% of "burnt-out bulb" indicators. The Can-Bus module of the H9 Truck GT LED bulb allows you to bypass the electronic systems of the most complex trucks, such as: Volvo FH, Mercedes, Scania, etc…
Increased comfort and reliability thanks to the addition of a wide-range voltage regulator 24-50 volts. Unlike a standard LED not adapted for heavy vehicles, the H9 Truck GT LED will not suffer damage, especially when starting trucks when the LEDs are switched on, because at that moment large voltage spikes can occur.
Another advantage of this Can-Bus module: it is coupled with an EMC to prevent electromagnetic interference on your truck's radio.
