This power can vary depending on the original ballasts of your vehicle. It is important to understand that these ballasts are crucial because they define the actual power your xenon bulbs can produce and that in the automotive sector the standard is generally set at 35 watts for homologation reasons. Be cautious of offers and sites promising more than 40 watts of power for D4S LED bulbs plugged into the original socket because this is often unrealistic with a standard installation. The only risk you take in this case is to shorten the lifespan of your original ballasts by pushing them beyond their capacity. To overcome this power limit, replacing your ballasts with more powerful models or powering the LED bulbs upstream of the ballast is necessary to avoid being limited by it. Low beam headlights: Better lighting than a (classic) xenon bulb with a wider light beam, especially on the sides, sharper and more efficient than the 35W xenon (up to +250% brighter).

High beam headlights: Please note, the lighting of the LED D4S/D4R SMART V2 Kit may be slightly less bright or equal to a 35W xenon depending on the vehicle model, particularly in terms of lighting distance, but it will be superior in width of illumination.
