AGM Vision Competition: LED HB4 9006 Thallium
The LED HB4 Thallium could be summed up in one word: EXTREME. Its name is related to a highly toxic poison; you will understand why later. The specifications of the LED HB4 Thallium bulb were not subject to any restrictions regarding the deployment of luminous power. With such guidelines, the use of this type of LED is not for everyone: the brightness is such that precision is obviously more difficult to master, which is purely logical. We recommend this LED mainly for low beams, but only if the headlight optics are lenticular. It should not be used on reflector headlights, because its power is too high. On the other hand, it is ideal for high beams, where it can express its full potential, whether with reflector or lenticular headlights. The LED HB4 Thallium bulb is the most powerful in our entire range with 85 watts and 16 000 raw Lumensper bulb or 170 Watts and 32 000 raw Lumens for 2 bulbs. It stands far ahead on the podium of the most powerful LEDs without requiring a change in the section of the power supply wires. Intended for lovers of extreme light for competition, rally not to mention Off Road.
LED HB4 9006 Approved Comparison vs LED HB4 9006 Thallium
As you can see in the attached photo, the difference between a certified LED and a competition LED is more than obvious. We decided to carry out this test to show you just how important the contrast is between these two worlds. This is not meant to say that a certified LED bulb HB4 9006 does not light well, but simply to allow you to visually realize the power and the impressive size of the light spectrum of the HB4 Thallium LED bulb compared to a certified LED bulb HB3 9005. Conversely, this one perfectly respects the shape and size of the original spectrum; only its light intensity is stronger than an original halogen bulb, as well as its color being whiter.
Test result carried out at a distance of 4 meters with a Peugeot 206 headlight optic:
High beam: 5300 LUX peak for the H7 Thallium LED
Low beam: 3200 LUX peak for the certified H7 LED.
HB4 9006 LED Thallium: Incredible vision! Like broad daylight
The HB4 Thallium LED bulb offers a 6000K white light, ultra powerful and unmatched. Compared to a standard LED, such a luminous output was not even imaginable before, without having to use additional LED lighting, like a light bar or LED ramp. This HB4 9006 Thallium LED bulb is truly a delight in the countryside or for those who live in mountainous regions. The advantage of the HB3 Thallium LED bulb lies essentially in its 85 watt power and the choice of the LED chip (wide hybrid spectrum used to its maximum). The combination of both allows for lighting without shadow zones: every millimeter of asphalt will be covered by light. With such luminous intensity, your field of vision will be extra wide but also very far-reaching. Usually, with a standard LED, a compromise is always observed: the light cannot be distributed everywhere, either far or wide, but rarely at a very good level in each task. The HB3 9005 LED Thallium also proves to be a very good ally to eliminate existing lighting defects.
HB4 9006 LED Thallium: Arsenal of the Best Technologies
The HB4 Thallium LED bulb is truly designed like a race car. Of course, it innovates with the best current technologies as well as the most high-end materials, essential for such a level of performance and flawless reliability.
We obviously find the Liquid Sodium Copper Multi Tube system already known from the Millenium 2, as well as the addition of a high-capacity aluminum radiator, here specially implemented on this LED to multiply heat extraction, not to mention the use of rare and precious minerals such as graphene, which improves the overall thermoelectric conductivity in an exceptional way.
Despite what one might think, the HB4 9006 Thallium LED hardly heats up at all compared to a standard halogen bulb. Also, there is no risk for your connectors or your wiring harness: we are still below manufacturer safety margins.
HB4 9006 LED Thallium: New high-performance Can-Bus
The main advantage of the HB4 9006 Thallium LED bulb is its very high power. Usually, an LED is considered low consumption, but regarding the HB3 Thallium LED, this is not really the case. It's actually quite the opposite, since the consumption is higher than the original, but this parameter gives it strong anti-error capability. Thanks to this, error problems related to low electrical consumption are most often inhibited. After several tests on vehicles with complex electronics, the HB4 Thallium LED proves to be one of the LEDs most suitable for solving "burnt out bulb" error problems, especially on Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda.
LED HB4 9006 Thallium: AGM Vision Bench Test
After several months of testing and numerous updates before its release, the HB4 Thallium LED bulb has continuously increased its luminous performance to now reach its peak at around 16 000 Raw Lumens per bulb (theoretical Lumens without energy loss). To confirm the obtained performance, we carried out a validation test under real conditions in our internal laboratory using our calibrated IES radio spectrometer sphere. This test allows us to measure the actual Lumens with all constraints, that is: heat, electrical and mechanical; nothing to do with Raw Lumens, which are calculated theoretical Lumens.
