Our D1S/D1R Smart V2 LED bulb is an ideal solution to replace your original D1S or D1R Xenon bulbs, without any modification, thanks to its 100% Plug & Play installation. It connects directly to the original socket and stands out as one of the most powerful Plug & Play LEDs on the market.
This exceptional performance – up to 8140 raw lumens for about 35 watts – is made possible by an optimized cooling system at the rear of the bulb. However, the actual power will depend on your vehicle's original ballast, as it determines how much energy the bulb can receive. Generally, standard ballasts deliver a power of 35W, a standard established for automotive approval.
🔍 Beware of misleading promises: some offers advertise more than 40W of power on D1S Plug & Play LED bulbs, which is unrealistic without modification. Such overconsumption may risk prematurely damaging your original ballasts.
👉 To safely exceed this power limit, it is necessary either to replace your ballasts with more efficient models, or to power the LEDs directly upstream of the ballast.

The D1R/D1S SMART V2 LED bulb is one of the best Xenon/LED conversion bulbs featuring a 100% Plug & Play system. Gone are the headaches like with previous generations of Xenon/LED converter kits, where you had to find the ballast and its power supply to connect your LED bulb upstream. An operation that, even under the best conditions, could lead to no result, ending up with an LED bulb that does not work despite all your efforts (often observed with modern multiplexing systems).
Low beams increased by up to 250%
The D1S/D1R Smart V2 LED bulb offers the best alternative to date for overcoming shadow zones while maintaining optimal performance. For this, the LED bulb D1S / D1R has been designed with a high-performance SMD Hybrid CSP 5590 chip with a wide spectrum. Very specific, it allows for filling the entire field of vision, in its upper, lower parts as well as the periphery. Better clarity of the road and an interesting focus to optimize long-distance vision. Other concepts already exist on the market and are said to be "shadow zone free", but they have low luminous power, far below a classic xenon bulb.
To date, after multiple workshop tests, our Smart V2 LED concept is the one that gives the best compromise: luminous intensity and visual filling. Notably thanks to an exceptional luminous flux of 8140 Lumens Raw (per bulb), an absolute record for a LED with only 37 Watts of electrical consumption.
In summary, our LED D1S/D1R SMART V2:
Low beams: Better lighting than a xenon bulb (classic) with a wider light beam, especially on the sides, sharper and more efficient than the 35W xenon (up to +250% brighter).
High beams: Please note, the lighting of the LED D1S/D1R SMART V2 bulb may be slightly less bright or equal to a 35W xenon depending on the vehicle model, especially in lighting distance, but will be superior in lighting width.
