Rotating and fixed LED beacons – 12V/24V, magnetic and on bracket

A LED beacon is a rotating or flashing light device, mounted on the roof of a vehicle to signal its presence at 360°. It is essential for construction vehicles, tow trucks, agricultural machinery and exceptional convoys. LED technology offers instant activation, reduced consumption and a service life of more than 30,000 hours. At AGM Vision, our beacons are available from 12W to 36W.

The magnetic-base beacon is simply placed on the vehicle roof thanks to a powerful magnet and plugs into the cigarette lighter. It is ideal for occasional or removable use. The fixed-mount beacon is permanently screwed onto the roof or onto a plate, with a direct connection to the battery. It is suitable for vehicles that require permanent signaling, such as tow trucks or construction machinery.

The use of an orange beacon is authorized on public roads for slow-moving vehicles, exceptional convoys, tow trucks and construction vehicles, in accordance with the Highway Code. The blue beacon is reserved for law enforcement and priority vehicles. Always check the regulations in force applicable to your type of vehicle and activity.

The power determines the light intensity and visibility range. A 12W beacon is suitable for small vehicles and low-traffic areas. A 24W to 36W model is recommended for heavy goods vehicles, roadside worksites and convoys, where long-distance visibility is crucial. All our beacons operate on 12V to 32V to cover all professional vehicles.

For a magnetic beacon, simply place it on the vehicle’s metal roof and plug the connector into the cigarette lighter. For a model with a fixed mount, drill a hole in the roof or use a mounting plate, then connect the wires in 12V or 24V (positive and negative). Installation generally takes 10 to 20 minutes. Our LED beacons offer several lighting modes: rotating (classic rotation simulation), rapid flash (strobe) and steady (continuous light). Some models combine these modes to offer up to 4 to 8 sequences of different flashing. Switching from one mode to another is done using a simple built-in switch or via the connection.
