COB LEDs

The COB technology H7 LED bulb (Chip on Board) is an older model and is also the cheapest. Choose suitable cooling

H7 LED models are often equipped with fans to cool the LED. They can also use other cooling methods to save space, particularly so-called passive systems, where heat is extracted directly through the LED body using its aluminum fins. The use of highly conductive copper braids is another option. Such systems allow powerful H7 bulbs to be installed, even when available space is very limited.

Why choose an H7 LED with an error-cancelling system ?

An H7 LED bulb without an error-cancelling system will not be suitable for all vehicles. An H7 LED without an OBD error-cancelling system can use up to four times less energy, without any device to compensate for its low power consumption. Your vehicle’s electronics may be disrupted and detect a failed bulb after installing an LED. Various symptoms may appear, such as radio interference, a flickering bulb, a warning light on the dashboard or a message indicating that a bulb has burned out. Most of the time, these symptoms affect high-end vehicles equipped with a multiplexing system, particularly German or modern cars.

To avoid potential problems, choose error-free H7 LED bulbs or an additional error-cancelling module. This way, you won’t get a dashboard error and you’ll restore normal operation to your entire lighting system.
