The competition for manufacturers and all subcontractors in the world is the zone of truth. AGM Vision has LED, xenon and halogen bulbs, among the most efficient on the market. For us, competition, whether professional or amateur, is an accomplishment. When our LEDs light up the Bugatti circuit for the 24 h of Le Mans Moto, when our LEDs light up the asphalt and dirt roads of Team ARL Sport or during long sessions of extreme Enduro motorcycling with our rider Julien Gauthier, our products are pushed to their most extreme limits. We like to define ourselves as craftsmen of light. It all starts with a series of tests on the best LEDs on the market. We are not here to add just another bulb, but to offer the LED best suited to your auto-moto competition. For a novice, the best rally LED lighting is LED lighting that shines as intensely as possible. For us, it's an LED that diffuses light in the most efficient way, the most precise and above all, an LED that's easy to install, robust and as durable as possible.

The ones we offer to our partner teams are exactly the same as those you will find in our online store AGM Vision. The only thing that will change is the vehicle settings which will be more refined. Obviously, the requirements of car racing impose a different specification than that used for driving on open roads.

What is a rally LED?

When we talk about light, we instinctively think about aesthetics. For AGM Vision, it is above all better visibility which leads to more performance and safety for car and motorcycle riders.

For us, the headlights of a vehicle are safety elements and that's our angle for selecting LEDs for our partner teams. When our LEDs equip the motorcycles of Team Le Mans 2 Roues for the 24H du Mans, it's a question of safety.

Safety comes from uniform lighting that perfectly lights up the road, able to withstand 24 h of all vibrations from a competition motorcycle and to be reliable throughout the race and especially at night.

Our partnerships in rally and competition LED lighting (2021)

Our partners ARL Sport and Le Mans 2 Roues contacted us after discovering and testing our products as regular clients. It seems they were won over since they entrusted us with lighting their race cars. That's how we work with our partner teams.

ARL Sport: technical and advertising partnership

ARL Sport is a rally team in the French Junior Championship. Motorsports are expensive and for many young people it's prohibitive. ARL Sport allows young talented drivers to race. The team prepares Ford Fiestas for the single-make category.

The contact was made by email. We exchanged messages for a long time. Trust is essential for building a partnership. The team manager explained that rally regulations are very precise and that specifications on lighting prohibit using LEDs. However, he wants to increase the quality and intensity of his cars' lights without increasing electric power consumption. So it's forbidden to use halogen bulbs above 55 Watts! A real challenge for us.

We therefore used H7 - 55 Watt halogen types and H1 - 55 Watt types—the brightest we had available. We sent photos from various real tests as well as numerical results from our lab. For us it was essential to provide several solutions so TEAM ARL SPORT had real options. Then it was a full-scale test that validated our AGM Vision bulb. Of course, lighting quality is essential but bulbs must also withstand the extreme conditions of a rally.

We equipped Ford Fiestas with our models H7 55W Super Corsa X-TV1 and H1 Super Corsa X-TV1. Our collaboration went even further since we also equipped their support vehicles with LED lighting. On our side we are proud to participate in the French Junior Rally Championship, thus supporting a new generation of drivers. ARL Sport gives us visibility with our logos displayed on their cars.

The Team LE MANS 2 ROUES: 24 h moto du Mans

Le Mans 2 Roues, is a team of four Aprilia RSV4 1000 motorcycles prepared to race at the 24 Hours Moto Le Mans on the famous Bugatti circuit. The key for us was our rally LED lighting H7 GOLD XP. Thanks to this product, the team contacted us.

Naturally we couldn't let this opportunity slip: equipping bikes for Le Mans 24H is a dream come true for us. Again it was a real challenge: comply with race regulations and specificities of 24H. Our LED had to be below 3000 K—that is yellow—resistant, and above all able to run many hours non-stop while keeping its effectiveness despite racing conditions. The result was perfect since our yellow beam LED H7 GOLD XPs were effective from start to finish and the team performed very well with a 17th place finish.

The Extreme Enduro Moto with rider Julien Gauthier

Extreme Enduro is a very demanding discipline both physically and mentally. Visibility is crucial because there are many traps at every moment—especially when night falls. For an enduro motorcycle, light must be distributed evenly without dark zones with beam spread as wide as possible so vision around the front wheel (the "driving zone") and far ahead (the "spot") is optimized. This composition allows anticipation of terrain difficulties in advance. All lighting must consume little electricity because some enduro bike alternators can't supply more than 60 Watts power draw. Once again it was tough to achieve powerful enough LED lighting performance.

We designed several prototype aluminum headlight plates for our rider Julien, with different compositions of LED headlights as well as different orientations in order to obtain optimal light output.
