Lightning Fast is Chemical Guys’ fabric cleaner, a liquid spray intended for vehicle seats, carpets, and floor mats. It is aimed at motorists as well as detailers who want to remove a localized stain without dismantling or soaking the upholstery. The 473 ml bottle is sprayed directly onto the affected area.
A two-in-one formula
Chemical Guys combines, in a single solution, powerful cleaning agents and a stain-removing action. These agents penetrate the fiber, loosen dirt particles, and bring them up to the surface, where a simple blotting with a microfiber cloth picks them up. Rubbing therefore remains minimal, which preserves the textile’s original appearance.

Respect for fabrics

Two working methods

Instructions for use of the Lightning Fast Chemical Guys fabric cleaner
Lightning Fast is applied to a dry fabric that has been vacuumed beforehand. The method varies little whether it is an isolated stain or an entire carpet: only the amount of product and the working time change.
Treat a localized stain
- Vacuum the area to remove dust and debris.
- Spray Lightning Fast directly onto the stain.
- Gently agitate the fiber using a fabric brush or a cloth.
- Blot with a clean microfiber until fully absorbed.
- Vacuum one last time once the area is dry.
Clean a carpet or floor mats
- Remove the mats from the vehicle and vacuum them thoroughly.
- Spray the product in sections to keep control of drying.
- Brush each section in a single direction.
- Blot with a microfiber or use the extractor injector for a deeper result.
- Let dry, doors open, before reinstalling the mats.
Precautions
- Test the product on a hidden area before first use on old upholstery.
- Do not soak the fabric: several light passes are better than a saturated application.
- Reserve the product for textiles; leather and faux leather require a dedicated cleaner.
