Each type of stain requires an appropriate treatment. Food stains are treated with an enzymatic cleaner. Grease stains with a mild degreaser or baking soda. Ink stains with isopropyl alcohol. Apply the product to the stain, without rubbing (which spreads the stain), but by blotting from the outside toward the center. Let it work, then vacuum. For old stains, several successive applications may be necessary. An injector-extractor is the most effective tool for deep stains. Always test the product on a hidden area before treatment.

Bad odors are caused by bacteria trapped in the fibers. Start with a deep cleaning using an antibacterial cleaner. Then sprinkle baking soda on the carpet and let it sit all night: it absorbs odors. Vacuum the next day. For persistent odors (tobacco, animals), an ozone treatment or an enzymatic cleaner is necessary. Air out the vehicle doors open for one hour after the treatment. The APC (All Purpose Cleaner) is a versatile cleaner that works on all surfaces (plastic, fabric, leather, glass) thanks to its balanced formulation. The APC is convenient for quick maintenance, but for a deep cleaning of fabrics, a dedicated product will be more effective. The APC is diluted at different concentrations depending on the surface. AGM Vision recommends an APC diluted at 1:10 for fabrics and undiluted for heavily soiled plastics.

Yes, the steam cleaner is excellent for fabric seats and carpet. Steam at 100-150°C kills bacteria and dust mites, loosens stains without chemicals, and naturally deodorizes. Use a nozzle with a fabric tip and move slowly, vacuuming at the same time if possible. Warning: steam wets the fabric; allow a drying time of 2 to 4 hours (doors open or vacuum cleaner). Do not use steam on leather (risk of drying out) or on alcantara (risk of marks). Air out the vehicle after treatment to avoid condensation.
