LED HS1 – The base dedicated to motorized two-wheelers

The HS1, specific to motorcycles and scooters

The HS1 bulb is a format exclusively reserved for two-wheelers. Visually close to the H4, the HS1 operates at 35/35 watts (versus 60/55W for the H4) and has the same P43t base. This reduced power is suited to the alternators of small- and mid-displacement motorcycles and scooters. The HS1 LED bulb transforms lighting with a pure white luminous flux, considerably higher than halogen.

Difference between HS1 and H4

The HS1 and the H4 share the same P43t base and are physically interchangeable. The difference lies in the filament power: 35/35W for the HS1, versus 60/55W for the H4. In practice, an HS1 LED consumes much less than both and works in both types of optics. The important thing is to check that your headlight is designed for a 35W beam and to adjust the height if necessary.
