The two terms refer to similar components: the wired LED is an LED diode mounted with an integrated resistor for direct connection to 12V, while the wired diode may require an external resistor depending on the supply voltage.

The wiring is simple: connect the red wire (or the longest one) to +12V and the black wire to negative (ground/chassis). Our wired LEDs include a current-limiting resistor, so no additional component is necessary at 12V. Make sure to respect the polarity: LEDs only light up in one direction.
