Y-Novium: the new generation of Xenon to LED conversion
The D2S Y-Novium kit takes all the advantages of our D2S Smart V2 LEDs: instant start-up, cool white and wide lighting, Plug & Play installation without modification and anti-error system, while going even further in terms of performance.
Thanks to optimized ventilation and copper heat sinks, performance stays high for longer. Its new adjustable CANBUS system also allows better compatibility with the most sensitive vehicles.
The new hybrid LED chips offer a more precise and more focused beam, with a greater gain in long-range. Depending on the optics, performance can now come close to, or even match, that of a Premium D2S Xenon, while retaining the advantages of LED.

Advanced thermal technology and adjustable CANBUS
An even more efficient cooling
The cooling system has been fully optimized, with a more efficient ventilation and the addition of copper heat sinks, much more effective. This better heat management makes it possible to maintain a high level of performance for longer, even during prolonged use.
An optimized and adjustable CANBUS system
The Y-Novium also benefit from a new CANBUS system offering even broader compatibility coverage. The goal is to guarantee stable operation, without bugs or error messages, on as many vehicles as possible.
You will notice the presence of micro-switches directly on the LED electronic system. They allow you to adjust the CANBUS operation more precisely depending on the vehicle.
The original setting is designed to work with the majority of vehicles on the market. However, for certain vehicles equipped with particularly complex or sensitive electronics, these additional settings make it possible to adapt the operation of the LEDs and considerably extend their compatibility.
Simplified installation thanks to the detachable ring and the original D2S connector
Simply plug in the Y-Novium D2S LED bulb as you would with a standard D2S xenon bulb, directly into your vehicle’s original connector. The connector on our LED is offset on a cable to make installation easier, while remaining 100% compatible with a D2S connector.
Despite its high-performance fan located at the rear, the Y-Novium D2S retains relatively compact dimensions. Its main advantage is its detachable and adjustable mounting ring, which greatly simplifies installation and allows fitting on more headlight configurations, despite the bulb’s high power.
If your priority is above all to have an LED that is even easier to fit into a tight space, we recommend the Smart V2 range instead. This one is more compact, but does not have a detachable ring, which can make certain installations more delicate. For installations where the available space is particularly limited, the GTS range is our most compact and easiest-to-integrate solution.
Another important advantage: the Y-Novium has no external box, which makes it even easier to integrate into the headlight. It is an all-in-one solution with an integrated anti-error system: no modification to the wiring harness or addition of an extra module is necessary in the majority of installations.
The Y-Novium D2S is designed to work with different types of automotive electrical architectures, from conventional systems to multiplexed vehicles. It therefore offers very broad compatibility, notably with many Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes and other brands originally equipped with D2S.

New LED chips for a more concentrated beam
The Y-Novium also incorporate new hybrid LED chips specially developed and customized in order to obtain a more precise and more concentrated beam.
The objective is to increase brightness in the central area of the beam, both in low beams and in high beams, while maintaining an excellent lighting width.
A real evolution in long-range
It is precisely in long-range that the Y-Novium mark a real evolution.
Until now, Xenon conversion LEDs generally made it possible to gain a lot in lighting width, but their beam remained more diffuse at long distance. They therefore still had difficulty competing with the performance of a Premium Xenon, especially in high beams.
With the new Y-Novium, we have considerably reduced this gap. Depending on the design of the optics, long-range performance can now be very close to, or even equivalent to that of a Premium Xenon, while retaining the main advantages of LED technology: instant-on, white light, wide beam and high luminous efficiency.
This is a real step forward in Xenon to LED conversion technology.
