Our Smart V2 D2S LED Kit, easy to install thanks to its Plug & Play system, is ideal for replacing your factory-fitted D2S or D2R Xenon bulbs, without requiring any modification. This kit stands out as being the brightest in its category among Plug & Play LEDs, and plugs directly into the original socket. This exceptional performance is largely due to an improved cooling system at the rear of the LED, which allows it to reach up to 8140 Raw Lumens for a power output around 35 Watts. This power may vary depending on your vehicle’s original ballasts. It is important to understand that these ballasts are crucial, because they define the actual power that your xenon bulbs can produce, and that, in the automotive sector, the standard is generally set at 35 watts for approval reasons. Stay vigilant regarding offers and websites promising more than 40 watts of power for D2S LED bulbs plugged into the original socket, because this is often unrealistic with a standard installation. The only risk you take, in this case, is to reduce the lifespan of your original ballasts by pushing them beyond their capacity. To exceed this power limit, replacing your ballasts with more powerful models, or powering the LED bulbs upstream of the ballast, proves necessary in order to avoid being limited by it. Simply plug in the D2S Smart V2 LED Bulb as you would with a standard D2S xenon bulb, using your vehicle’s original connector. The connector on our LED is offset on a wire, but it remains 100 % compatible with a D2S connector. Despite its fan located at the rear, the D2S Smart V2 LED bulb has very compact dimensions, a feature that greatly facilitates installation. In addition, the Smart V2 LED is designed without a housing, a major advantage for installations.This Smart V2 LED bulb is an all-in-one product with an integrated anti-error system. No electrical modification is necessary, nor the addition of a module. It is perfectly suited to the various electrical systems of vehicles, including basic systems and multiplexed systems (K-line, Can-H, etc.), and is 100 % compatible with standard vehicles as well as high-end models such as Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes, etc.

The LED D2S SMART V2 Kit is one of the best Xenon/LED conversion kits featuring a 100% Plug & Play system. No more headache, like with the older generations of Xenon/LED converter LED kits, where you had to look for the ballast and its power supply to connect your LED bulb upstream. An operation which, even carried out under the best conditions, could lead to no result, with an LED bulb that does not work despite all your efforts (often observed with modern multiplexing systems).

The D2S Smart V2 LED bulb kit offers the best alternative to date to remedy shadow zones, while maintaining optimal performance. To achieve this, the D2S / D2R LED kit was designed with a high-performance, broad-spectrum hybrid CSP 5590 SMD chip. Very specific, it enables filling the entire field of vision, in its upper and lower parts, as well as on the periphery. Better sharpness of the road and an interesting focus to optimize long-distance vision. Other concepts already exist on the market and are presented as “ without shadow zones ”, but these have low luminous power, far below that of a conventional xenon bulb.
To date, after multiple workshop tests, our Smart V2 LED concept is the one that offers the best compromise: light intensity and visual fill. Notably thanks to an exceptional luminous flux of 8140 Gross Lumens (per bulb), an absolute record for an LED with only 37 Watts of electrical consumption.

Dipped beam headlights : Better lighting than a (classic) xenon bulb, with a wider light beam, especially on the roadsides, sharper and more efficient than 35W xenon (up to +250% brighter).
High beam headlights : Please note, the lighting of the D2S SMART V2 LED Kit may be slightly less bright or equal to a 35W xenon, depending on the vehicle model, notably in lighting distance, but will be superior in lighting width.
If you want a more intense light peak for your high beams (very long-range type), you should instead turn to our range: Xenon Technology 200% more efficient. Two lighting colors are available: warm white (4500K), which is the most efficient range: the D2S Optimium +200% 4500K Bulb, or our best compromise whiteness/power in 5500K: the D2S Optimium White 5500K Bulb.
