What does the Forbidden Paradise Tropical perfume smell like?

Chemical Guys describes an exotic fragrance evoking palm trees and sand, in a sunny and fruity register. It diffuses through the airflow of the ventilation, which distributes the smell throughout the entire cabin.

What is the difference between an air freshener clip and an air freshener spray?

The clip diffuses continuously thanks to the airflow from the ventilation, without any intervention on your part. A spray like the New Car Smell Chemical Guys air freshener is used occasionally and acts immediately on odors that are already present.

Forbidden Paradise Tropical or Black Frost: which to choose?

Forbidden Paradise Tropical focuses on an exotic and fruity scent, while the Black Frost Chemical Guys deodorizing clip offers a more masculine profile, close to the smell of a new car. The format and the diffusion method are identical.

How long does a Chemical Guys air freshener clip last?

Chemical Guys announces up to 30 days of diffusion. The actual duration depends on the ventilation usage time and the selected airflow rate.

How to install the clip on your car's air vent?

Simply slide the rear clip onto a slat of the air vent grille, then turn on the ventilation. No maintenance is required afterwards, and the clip comes off as easily as it goes on.

Forbidden Paradise Tropical Chemical Guys air freshener clip: continuous exotic fragrance

The Chemical Guys Forbidden Paradise Tropical deodorizing clip attaches to an air vent and scents the cabin as soon as the ventilation is running. It is aimed at drivers who want a pleasant smell all the time, without spraying anything and without having to manage refills.

A tropical scent by Chemical Guys

Chemical Guys describes Forbidden Paradise Tropical as an exotic fragrance evoking palm trees, sand, and an island vibe. It is one of the sunniest scents in the American brand’s catalog, the opposite of leather or new car profiles.

What this deodorizing clip does

It clips directly onto an air vent slat.
It uses the airflow from the ventilation or air conditioning to distribute the fragrance throughout the cabin.
It diffuses for up to 30 days, according to Chemical Guys’ indications.
It requires no maintenance: no spraying, no refills, no liquid to handle.
It uses the brand’s Stay Fresh technology, designed for consistent diffusion.

A visible accessory in the cabin

The casing features the Chemical Guys logo in 3D relief. Placed on the central vent, it serves as much as an interior accessory as a deodorizer, which sets it apart from neutral plastic diffusers.

For which vehicles

The clip mounts on slatted air vents, horizontal as well as vertical, regardless of the vehicle brand. It is suitable for both a city car and a van, and can be transferred from one vehicle to another in a few seconds.

Packaging

This product is sold individually. Once the diffusion is exhausted, it is replaced with a new clip, in the same scent or in another reference from the Chemical Guys range.

Instructions for use of the Forbidden Paradise Tropical Chemical Guys deodorizing clip

Setup takes a few seconds and requires no tools. Here are the steps to follow depending on your vehicle’s configuration.

Install the clip on an air vent

Take the clip out of its packaging.
Choose a central or side air vent, facing the cabin.
Slide the clamp located at the back of the housing onto a slat of the vent.
Check that the clip holds firmly and that the slat remains movable.
Turn on the ventilation or air conditioning: the fragrance then diffuses into the cabin.

Adjust the fragrance intensity

Start with a low ventilation flow during the first days.
Increase the flow or aim the vent toward you for a more pronounced diffusion.
Close the vent in question or remove the clip if the smell seems too strong to you.

Good to know

The duration announced by Chemical Guys is 30 days maximum: it depends directly on the time during which the ventilation is running. Daily highway use depletes the clip faster than a few urban trips per week.

Precautions

Chemical Guys indicates, under California Proposition 65 regulations, the presence of myrcene in this product. Keep the clip out of reach of children and animals, do not open it, and replace it when the fragrance fades.
