Blue light LED beacon – agricultural spraying guidance

A blue LED spray light is a spotlight emitting a specific blue light, which makes the droplets of plant protection product stand out on crops. The oval bi-lens blue light allows the farmer to monitor, in real time, spray coverage, even at night.

Blue light (wavelength ~450 nm) makes the product droplets fluorescent and visible to the naked eye, which makes it possible to detect missed areas or overlaps. It is a valuable tool for optimizing dosage, reducing waste, and improving the effectiveness of plant protection treatments.

The choice depends on the width of the ramp. The oval bi-lens model offers a wide beam, ideal for covering several meters of ramp, while the round 9-lens model concentrates the beam more for more precise spot control.

The beacon is mounted on the sprayer boom or on the tractor chassis, oriented toward the spraying area. It is connected in 12V or 24V via the tractor’s electrical circuit. A dedicated switch allows it to be activated only during treatments.
