LED light bars and ramps – Agricultural tractor & construction equipment

LED light bars offer powerful, wide work lighting, essential for agricultural or construction work at night. Unlike traditional round work lights, LED light bars cover a wider angle and are easily mounted on the roof, the bull bar, or the hood. They resist vibrations, dust, and bad weather.

The size depends on the mounting location and the area to be lit: from 20 cm (7") for a spot supplement to more than 130 cm (50") for panoramic roof lighting. For typical agricultural use, a 50 to 80 cm bar offers a good compromise between power and bulk. The longest bars are ideal for night work in open fields.

A 1-row (slim) light bar is thinner and lighter, ideal for a discreet installation, while a 2-row light bar offers significantly greater power and range. Slim light bars are suitable for bull bars and grilles, while double-row ones are suitable for roofs and roof racks. The choice depends on the desired power and the available space.

Yes, quality LED light bars are IP67 or IP68 certified, which means they are completely dust-tight and withstand temporary immersion. This is essential for agricultural and construction machinery exposed to mud, rain, and splashes. Always check the IP rating before purchase.

The connection is made directly to the 12V or 24V battery via a relay and a switch. A relay is strongly recommended to protect the tractor’s electrical circuit. Most LED light bars are supplied with a ready-to-install wiring kit. If your machine operates on 24V, make sure that the light bar is compatible.

LED work light bars range from 18 W (1 200 lm) for small models to more than 400 W (40 000 lm) for 130 cm double-row bars. For standard agricultural use (plowing, night harvesting), a 100 to 200 W bar offers excellent visibility. Higher power ratings are intended for large fields or extensive worksites.
